NuWallpaper NU2680 Halcyon Peel & Stick Wallpaper, Blue

Used this for a girls bedroom. The wallpaper is beautifully made with a nice print and colors. It is thick, easy to work with using the correct tools. It sticks well to the wall. As with any other wallpaper you have to buy extra to have enough to align your pattern.

I had decided against peel and stick wallpaper but the price was so good on this one that I figured I would give it a try. I don’t regret it. My walls do not have texture and they were previously painted with eggshell paint. The wallpaper stuck to it just fine. It’s been about one week with no peeling…even next to the shower. It’s definitely vinyl so it has a bit of a sheen which doesn’t bother me because it’s easy to clean in my bathroom. The hardest part to apply are inside corners where two walls meet. This is because it wants to stick to both walls at the same time. It may help to have another person hold it away from the second wall as you line up the piece on the first wall. I ordered six rolls and they all matched color just fine. The drop repeat makes the image more natural looking (you don’t get the same bird repeating horizontally every 20 inches). Just make sure you get enough paper because even though the repeat is 20.5 inches, you have to add another 10.25 inches at the top of the next piece to account for the drop. This can mean more waste depending on the height of your wall. Another reviewer recommended overlapping the seams a little so you don’t get gaps later. I may have gone a little overboard as you can see in the closeup photo. If you overlap you can’t get both the wing to match up and the feet of the other bird. It doesn’t bother me overall however. Better than gaps. Overall it’s a great price for a large scale print wallpaper.

I’m just over-the-moon happy about this wallpaper! It looks better than in the ad. The colors are vibrant and absolutely no smudges. I’ve ordered this wallpaper on three different occasions and all of the rolls are exact matches. The paper is weighted and sturdy. The quality is superb. So easy to put up . Use a wallpaper smoothing tool to prevent bubbles. You will be pleased in purchasing this product. Look at my photo—gorgeous!

Finished product looks good but it was not easy to install. I'm a hard-core DIYer and this one tested me. I wallpapered an 8x8 wall in my laundry room and it took me a full day. I struggled with lots of air bubbles and couldn't get the pattern to line up in places. Like other reviewers said ... if the bird feet lined up, then the wings did not. When I finally got over that detail, it went much faster but still very difficult to work with. It stuck to the floor, the washing machine, the window, my hair, itself ... basically everything BUT the wall. The next day the paper had started to come unpeeled at the edges of the wall and there were still lots of bubbles. I asked the internet for help and it answered: Roman E-Z Hang spray. It's an adhesive spray specifically for peel and stick wallpaper. What a difference! I spent another day basically peeling off what I had put up before, wiping down the walls, drying them well and spraying the back of the paper with Roman E-Z Hang spray. I got mine at Lowes but it's available at Amazon. It made the second installation so much better - I even wrapped continued onto a second wall - and cut around windows! It was easier to manipulate the paper and it didn't stick to itself or to me. I would recommend this wallpaper WITH the E-Z stick spray, not without. Save yourself the headache and buy the spray when you buy the paper. Also get yourself a knife with several sharp blades - I went through at least 6 blades. I'm giving it 3 stars because on it's own I think it would have fallen off the wall within a week. But I LOVE the look! The adhesive spray saved the day. Happy hanging!

The paper is gorgeous! But it needs more adhesive. I was able to hang it but it was very difficult and it had trouble adhering. It is much easier to hang wall paper with paste and not the peel and stick. But, it is gorgeous!

Nice, thick paper. Seams matched up well. I was able to reposition as needed. I recommend the wallpaper installation tools that can also be purchased from Amazon.

Has started to fall from wall. I was gone for 2 weeks and came home to this beautiful wall paper sagging down the wall as it was releasing. This is a guest bathroom and not in use. Wall was prepped the same as upper bath with flamingos. I have removed the paper as I have spent 3 days babysitting the paper and it just isn't getting a good adhesion. Rats,it will have to all come down. It's cute paper. Yet return window closed before I noticed.

Gorgeous! I decided to use two different wallpapers from the same company in my bathroom. They are very different looking, but I think it turned out great! I’m going to be ordering even more different patterns from this company. This is the fourth time I have put up stick up wallpaper by myself. You really don’t need anyone to help you. Once you get the technique down, it’s easy. You just have to make sure it’s level at the top and then smooth it down and making sure that it’s straight the whole way. Because the patterns that I got were very busy, if I ran out of paper I could just patch it up with smaller pieces. I didn’t care so much about lining it up, but if you do it will take you more time. Probably worth it, but I didn’t want to deal with it. Then what I did was take some molding and take a piece of the opposite pattern paper and put it on the opposite wall. It’s hard to explain, just look at the photos! Anyway, I like this stuff. One tip is to take a clear thumbtack or a tack of a similar color of the paper and put it in each corner on every single roll. This way it will never come down. You could also cover the tack in a little bit of the paper, so it blends in. I will say that I had some much more expensive sticky wallpaper like this that was a tiny bit easier to put on, but not by much. Truly, I do like this brand, and any negative reviews are from people who do not understand how to use it.
