Pet Wellbeing Young at Heart for Dogs & Cats - Heart Health, Circulatory & Cardiovascular System, Hawthorn, Motherwort, Schisandra - Veterinarian-Formulated Herbal Supplement 4 oz (118 ml)

My dog is roughly 100lbs (50kg). He should have about 4ml twice daily. However, i gave my dog 5ml, 5 times a day for the first week, then dropped down to 3 times a day. Roughly about 2 bottles in the 1st week. And all off a sudden he was eating again. Chewing his bones again. Barking when the door knocked. Running up and down the garden. Playing with a football. I also give him extra doeses of hawthorn tinctures throughout the day(at least 5 times, even after the 1st week. Him having young at heart twice daily didn't do much, if anything. I would give him it twice a day as a preventative. Young at heart will not work properly if you give your dog medicine such as cardisure and fortekor. I chose to take him off his tablets as he was getting worse and worse. You need to give young at heart at least a week to start working and will not work the same day.

I honestly didn’t believe the reviews for this product. My dog has been diagnosed with a low grade heart murmur. He had stopped jumping upon the bed, refused long walks and generally slept most of the time. Within 1 month of using this product, he’s up on the bed again (not ideal though) and void I g around like a puppy, going on long walks and is sleeping less. He is also sleeping much better and sleeping through the night. It is a pricey product, but I a, also trying out a human version that is a quarter of the price that people also say they give to their dog. (Trouble is my dog loves the bacon flavour and looks forward to his drops!).

Easy to use and dog likes it, yes it has helped

Great product for preventative care for my cavalier with regards to heart failure. Treating the cause rather than waiting for it to happen then treating the symptoms. She's nine going on ten and no coughing or breathlessness. All symptoms gone :). Highly recommend this product although very expensive as a routine supplement.

Perfect product and works

Initially I thought my dog was more spritely, ( was heavily swayed by all the positive reviews ) I persevered, and brought another bottle, my dog was still coughing. I won't be purchasing anymore - I have 3/4 of 150 mil bottle left - which I will gladly donate to someone - if Amazon could facilitate this that would be great.

My dog Charlie was very sick with a heart Murmur this made it worse sadly he no longer is with me so waste of money note that bottle was marked for Large Dogs from 33lb dog I worked out he needed .03ml as a33lb dog needed 1.5 mg I bought this to help him but it made him worse

This product most definitely works! My little dog was diagnosed with a heart murmur and was prescribed drugs which gave him terrible side effects. I looked up a more holistic option and found ‘Pet Wellbeing Young at Heart for Dogs on Amazon. Since he has been on this, he does not pant and pace which he when he was on prescription drugs. I highly recommend this product based on my dog’s health improvement!

I started using this product nearly 4 years ago, when one of my dogs was given months to live. He was in heart failure due to valve disease. I cannot credit this product 100%, as he was also put on meds, but vets still only gave him months, as he had two bad valves and was in end-stage heart failure. I just lost him at nearly 15, when he wasn't even supposed to make 12, and it wasn't even due to his heart (brain tumor). I had him in for an echo about 4 months ago and the cardiologist said if she didn't know better (he had his first echo there), she wouldn't believe it was the same dog. She wouldn't even give a prognosis, as he actually looked great! His valves were still not functioning like they should, as the damage was done, but his heart had shrank, and the backflow was minimal, all things considered. I started these drops while I waited for his first echo (scheduled due to murmur noted at checkup). I could hear his heart swoosh just sitting next to him before he turned around and started to improve. I used the large dog/bottle for my 28# Shiba and did one dropper-full each morning. He was a very picky eater at the time, and he never had an issue with the flavor of this on his food. I also gave the meds that were prescribed and Cardio Strength, both which were recommended by Cardiologist. These drops are the only thing outside of *normal* treatment protocol, and he defied all odds, so I can only believe this had a huge impact. Secondly, I had another dog, different breed, diagnosed over 2 years ago with DCM. This is not a good diagnosis, with only about 25% making it 2 years past diagnosis. I didn't start these with her until about a year ago as I wasn't sure about interaction with meds (she was on different ones than the Shiba), and couldn't get a straight answer from the cardiologist (different one that the Shiba saw). She wasn't doing all that well, so I decided I didn't have much to lose and started her on these drops as well. For her, being she is bigger at 70#, I did a dropper-full 2x day. She is now over 2 years past diagnosis and doing seemingly well heart-wise. Echo in a month. I anticipate I will likely lose her to something other than heart issues just based on what I've observed lately. I would highly recommend these drops to anyone with a dog that has heart issues. Obviously I am not a vet, but I will always get these on board if I have any future heart-related diagnosis with any of my dogs. I will also use any of the products from this company should they be related to issues that pop up, simply due to the trust that has been built up from the use of Young at Heart!

Cheapest deal I found!

My 17 year old dachshund has been living with a heart murmur for several years now and while it's remained at a grade 3 from the time it was first discovered, her activity levels have steadily gone down during that time. I attributed it primarily to the fact that she was aging, but while researching other products for a different dog, I stumbled across this. With the favorable reviews and because there didn't seem to be anything harmful in it, I decided to give it a try to see if it would help her heart. After just a few days I noticed that she was becoming more active. No longer just lying on her bed all day, she was actually getting up and moving around again. She's not yet been seen by her vet again since starting her on this, but I'm pretty confident that he's going to say that her heart seems stronger now and because of that, she's more willing to engage in the activities that she once did. More slowly, of course, due to her age. My only complaint with this is that the bottle requires shaking before measuring and it leaks horribly when shaken. Each drop wasted to that leak is one drop I can't give my dog, and I hate wasting anything. My estimate is that by the time she finishes this bottle, at least one or two full doses will have been wasted to this leak. As pricey as this product is, I think a better container should be provided. Were it not for this one issue, I would have given a full 5 stars rating, but as it exists currently, I had to take off 1 star for the substandard container.

This has really helped my elderly dog in a short period of time. I was amazed!. He is completely acting like his old (younger) self again. Thank you!!
