" This is probably the best choice I have ever made
I ordered this in hopes of saving some money. I am so sick of having to spent roughly $1.50 per pre-made pack at the store!! So I figured "why not cut out the middle man and make it myself with the powder?" This is probably the best choice I have ever made! The jar states you can use water or apple cider vinegar, I have tried both. The first mask I made was with water and came out kind of clumpy and hard to apply to my face; but made my skin feel amazing. the next day I went and got a massive jug of apple cider vinegar and a small mason jar. since the clay can be hard to get smooth I actually used my blender to mix the powder and vinegar and put the remaining clay in the mason jar. My roommate and I both use this mix, so we made enough for each of us to get roughly 2-3 masks out of it (so it should last about a week or a week and a half). I won't even lie, this powder mixed with vinegar BURNS and does leave the face feeling a little raw and red. That only lasted about 30 minutes so don't freak out too much. The morning after I used the vinegar mask my face was amazing. All of the little blackheads that were on my nose (those pesky ones in the edges that you can never get to with your fingers without feeling as if you're breaking your nose) were gone and my skin feels like a baby's butt it's so smooth. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to not only save a few pennies but also take control of their skin again from awful blemishes or acne.

So far, I'm very pleased with the results!
Ok, so I've only used it once so far, however I am very pleased with it! I first tried to mix it with just water since I didn't have any ACV available. It did not mix very well (it states that on the jar -- that it will be lumpy if mixed with just water). I read that most people said that it made a lot and they had to refrigerate left overs -- so I cut the amount in half for my first application and I STILL had some left over! Because it was not creamy, it was kind of hard to put on, but I I did the best I could. I let it dry for about 20 minutes, then washed it off. My face really did feel soft, smooth and clean! I plan on using this twice a week to help with my acne. I will post an updated review after I've used it a few more times. Great price for such a large amount of product too! :)

I HATE this product
I HATE this product! I used to have a mask that I would just put on my acne when I started to break out and it would dry up the zit in about 20 min. The old product was so easy I just scooped it out with my finger and put it on my face and usually just left it there all night and it was easy to get off the next day. THIS PRODUCT for one is NOT already mixed into a clay it is a powder and you have to get a special bowl and special spoon and measure out how much powder to mix with how much water and it's very messy! It doesn't spread on your face well it honestly doesn't turn into clay easily and it's hard to get off unless you have a sink you can soak your face in (which I don't). This is just not what I thought it would be like and I'm a little disappointed but as far as getting rid of acne I'm not sure yet but it doesn't seem to be helping much.

I wish I had a better review for the product
I wish I had a better review for the product, I really want to love it, however I just dont. The powder was beautiful and silky, and the jar is a huge bargan! I followed the directions and mixed it with apple cider vinegar and it made a great consistency. I put it on my face for 12ish minutes then fully rinsed it annnnnnddd nothing. Just nothing. My face did not get red and flushed. It burned a little while it was on, but that was just the vinegar on my upper lip. My wasn't noticeably softer or anything. The small sections of my face that don't ever have acne felt soft, but everywhere else just seemed like normal. Nothing changed or was amazing :(I would recommend trying this product, it's a great value and I love how simple it is. It just didn't work for me at all :( I have so much left I will still try again and update this review if something changes, but I am skeptical. I don't even have horrific skin anything extreme, I was very surprised my results were so mundane.

different consistency than other bentonite clays
Ok, I had been using the Indian secret bentonite clay for awhile and really liked it. They both say they are 100% bentonite clay, but the consistency is very different between the two. This one seems a little more gentle and less drying, but is hard to mix and apply. It gets almost gummy. It's hard to explain. With other brands of bentonite clay, if you look at the bowl a few hours later at what's left in the bowl, it will be completely cracked and hardened. Even sitting overnight this one didn't do that. Once its on, it does pulse and I can feel it working. It definitely clears my pores and my face is soft after using. It's also really helping to clear a pretty bad breakout. The consistency is hard to get used to, but I don't dislike it since it works pretty well. I'm really curious to know what makes them so different though

A lot for your money and instant results
Love this clay! I'm not much of an expert on face treatments and whatnot but I'm quite happy with this clay.I have gross blackhead which are really visible on my nose and you can really notice they shrink after using. It's a lot of powder and a bit really goes a long way. It's a little difficult to mix with water because it clumps, but I figured out that it works better to let it sit a little and soak up the water before mixing it. I apply it and let it dry before removing. I leave it on longer than suggested and have not seen any redness or issues. When it tingles you know it's ready to come off. I use it 3 times a week and have not seen any negative side effects. It dries my face a bit but only right after application and it goes away pretty fast. I've started using vitamin E oil as a moisturizer and it's helping a lot. My face feels smoother and tighter overtime. I'm only 27 but I'd figure I prepare my skin for the later years. Already recommending this clay mask to friends!
