Brilliant but messy kit .so cover your table
Instructions hard to understand but I remember having them when I was young and bought them for my grandaughter aged 5 to get away from play station. Make sure u cover table as plater goes everywhere .I set it all up put it in a glass with the red sticks .make sure mould inside doesn't touch sides fill water up to the level of base just before the crease then slowly keep sprinkling the powder as it sinks add more until it stays at top then leave to dry overnight to make sure it's completely dry .I put mine in airing cupboard to set quicker .the paints were really good but make sure the paint has dried 1st .hope this tip helps others

A little small but for the ingredients we made 2 instead of one owl .

No detailed instructions
This was okay as an afternoon activity spread out over two days to allow the plaster to cure.We used two parts powder to one part water. The bag contained 300g of calcium sulphate. We mixed the powder and water in a separate container and then poured into the mould.The owl mould is reusable but you would need to be careful not to puncture or tear once the owl has dried.

Brilliant value for money
Great value for money. Enough plaster of paris to make 2 figures.Instructions... Fill the mold with water to half an inch below rim. Then pour the powder in (half a packet per figure).

Brilliant but needs better instructions.
Brilliant kit which my daughter loved to put make and paint. However as mentioned in others comments the instructions are not clear and it gives you no guidance on how much powder to use. Luckily my sister had brought this item before and could help us. Apart from that I would buy this item again, more than enough paint and enough powder to make 2 owls!

Great for kids of all ages
My kids loved creating these and you have enough plaster to make multiple owls. My kids ages are 4, 6 & 12 and they all enjoyed it.
