Excellent tool for a refugium or algae reactor.
I put this on an auto doser for daily dispensing. I dose 2ml per day. Since it's addition to my reef aquarium it has certainly boosted the growth of the chaeto in my algae reactor and in turn lowered my nutrient levels.

i'm no expert
we first started this with some spaghetti algae (don't recall the scientific name chaeto something) it died, then we went with lettuce algae (again don't recall the scientific name) and it has stayed bright green and is thriving, so i blame our set up / lighting over this not working. but again i am no expert so this may not be doing anything then again it may be what is allowing the lettuce to be able to forgive us our newbie mistakes.

Chaeto needs 2 things to grow
A good light and something to eat. This appears to be helping. But please.... light soo much more important.

Works, no issues.
Dosing very lightly as needed, 0.1 ml per 16 gal. Had no problems with invertebrates. Chaeto grew faster, denser, and darker. Keeps Caulerpa prolifera from melting. I had a bunch of Caulerpa grow, and only had one blade melt, before Chaeto Gro it was a constant problem. Coloration difference was notable. Also helps Botryocladia botryoides. Note: contains very little Iron, 0.1% By comparison Ferrion contains 0.4%.

Warning - Green Hair Algae Likes it Too
I have seen growth and improved health of my chaeto since I started adding this product to the tank (1 ml per day in 100 gallon with 30 gallon sump). However, green hair algae which had been long gone and unseen for at least 6 months also came back. I am seeing a couple of significant patches popping up in a few places. I plan to stop using it in the hope that between my clean up crew and stopping chaetogro will get rid of the hair algae before it gets out of control

must have for marcoalgae
very significant result for my tank. coralline, chaeto, caulerpa, all the marcos grow like crazy just after three days dosing. skimmer also collect more waste (mainly microalgaes). If you have high nitrate/phos but all the algaes do not grow, you need this.
