FEATTY Calligraphy Pen Set Quill Dip Pen Antique Feahter Fountain Pen Kit with 12 Nibs and Pen Stand and Ink Bottle (Wine Red)

I bought this product out of curiosity and for potential art projects. The nib variety and the included ink sold me on the product. The little decorative leaf is not secured, it was glued to the feather and fell off within the first day. Not a deal breaker for me but still a cheap decorative attempt. The nibs can be difficult to insert but with a little effort and patience you can insert the nibs. There is a variety of nibs to test out for every need, whether it be calligraphy, writing or even art. The stand included is not weighted so the pen will not sit securely in it and falls over if not directly upright. The major downside is the fact that the ink does not dry waterproof. I tested writing and went back when dry to see if it was waterproof, it is not. This ink would not work with watercolors and/or acrylic paints. The ink smudges and bleeds into paint and water when dry. If you are interested in the pen for art sake, save some money and buy the ones that don't include the ink and buy a high quality waterproof ink. If you are interested in the writing aspect I would advise in getting a fixative spray to put on your letters/work when using this ink as the potential to smudge is high. Overall a good beginners introduction to dip pens but as an artist, this doesn't suit my needs.
