This is my 4th purchase from the same vendor. (and will be buying more). The blade is solid, built sturdy and just feels great to hold. I love the green grip also, and the medieval feeling design. I even went and bought the smaller version as a companion blade. I was asked before if the bird head bothers my hand? No it doesn't, when holding it like a normal blade in any direction it prevents my hand from sliding off it. This is a perfect blade for anyone wanting a rugged blade. Everything on the market now, is ultra polished that looks to 'pretty'. The fact that these 'look' rugged and rough is deceptive because its VERY sharp and does it's job and cuts well.

This is a really cool and stylish knife.Definitely the first one on my block with one of these :) I was reluctant to purchase it because of the ugly 1960s kitchen green leather, but I was looking for a blade with some heart. Actually within minutes, that ugly putrid green color grew on me like an amazon rain-forest vine.. It makes it look even more legit. The forged steel blade was like other reviews have claimed as "working sharp". You could cut and orange into orange-juice (LoL).. I spent about 10 minutes on my Spyderco sharpening sticks and turned this blade into a razor that I can shave with. I'm going to strop it later. I rubbed the side of the blade and hecka black gunk came off on my finger which I believe is normal for hand-forged steel. I took some Tuf-Glide on a rag and wiped it down.. It looks the same but not as much black gunk is coming off on my fingers now. The leather-wrapped handle section of the blade is big enough in size (girth and length) for my larger hands which was another thing I was unsure about before it came in the mail today. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. This is an easy knife to like (a lot).

I like the looks and style of the blade and it holds a pretty good edge. The downside is the sheath as it feels a bit cheap and the belt loop is very thin.

Looks well made and a good size. Sharp out of the box. Well balanced and affordable.

Just received this and guess what....I just ordered another!!! This was to be a gift for my son, but now I want it too! Gorgeous knife with green leather wrap on the handle and a sheath the same color with a loop to put on your belt. I LOVE the bird on the end of the handle, too...could be useful as well...This will be used on camping trips or handling odd jobs around the yard. This was quick to arrive and wrapped appropriately. Will enjoy doing more business with this company! Update: Just purchased yet another...someone else saw mine and just had to have it...LOL!

Ein top Messer, die Qualität ist wirklich sehr gut. Das Messer ist rustikal gehalten, die Schmiedehaut wurde beibehalten, aber es sind keine Grade oder scharfen Kanten vorhanden. Die Auslieferung Schärfe ist nicht ganz das was, lässt sich aber in 10 Minuten mit nem DMT Diamtschärfer und Abziehledersehr, wirklich sehr scharf machen, Armhaare rasieren? Absolut kein Problem. Zur Schnitthaltigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, wird sich zeigen. Alle die ein authentisches, schönes Wikinger/ Kelten Messer möchte ist hier goldrichtig. Klare Kaufempehlung
