LOVE MY PITCHER! WATER TASTES GREAT!!!!
First, let me say that I was looking for 1. a water holder made of glass and 2. a filter that makes tap water taste fresh. My old Brita was no longer keeping up with our urban tap water via it's plain old carbon filter. I did not want to buy bottled water, use plastic, or add to the earth's plastics problems.I started with the pH-R small 10 oz water bottle, it worked well for me, and is now on my night stand (too small, however, but it was good for testing the product line.) The 64 oz pitcher holds about 2 L and has an elegant design and feel to it. I keep it on the end table of the couch where I work. The water tastes excellent, and it reminds me of the nice smell of water you encounter after it rains. Also my stomach doesn't bother me, as it did after drinking over-chlorinated tap water directly. I like the way the handle feels and the spout pours out nicely into the glass. Functional and decorative. The glass seems delicate, but it's just me using it and I'm very careful. The lid fits on well and does not fall off easily. I like that it has a lid and dust/cat hair does not get inside. My only complaint is there needs to be a better way to gauge when you need to replace the filter. A small app would be beneficial: input size of appliance, number of people using it, amount you drink per day or per week, and receive the number of weeks/months the filter should last at that rate. Per the instructions, I don't drink 8 cups per day just from that one appliance, so I had to do some calculations.BTW, I don't buy into that ion stuff and it's not why I bought the pitcher. My feeling is our bodies take care of our blood pH. However, it can't hurt. I just care about the taste of the water, that my stomach feels okay, and that I"m using glass and NOT adding plastic to the environment. I expect to buy a second 64 oz soon for another room I work in. Although one could just add a filter to a jug of water you already own.

Exactly What I Wanted
I did a lot of research before buying this and, even though the broken glass reviews made me wary, I knew that I wanted a pitcher that was glass or metal only (no plastic at all) and was easy to clean. I have an autoimmune disorder and wanted to make sure I wasn’t accidentally making my water worse in any way. I also really hate the taste that water gets when stored in plastic.1. I was wary of it breaking. So I purchased a set of silicone trivets. I keep one in the fridge and one on the counter and I never let the pitcher touch any hard surface. This might be overkill but I figured an ounce of prevention is worth it. A month in, I can say I think the trivets are a nice thing to have and give me peace of mind.2. I thought we had very clean, tasty water in my city before. Our city is one of the few that uses only rainwater and spring water and isn’t treated with fluoride, etc, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t contaminants. I honestly thought I wouldn’t taste a difference. But I really can! It tastes crisp? Hard to explain. But I was surprised there was any taste difference. My partner thought it was all in my head, placebo affect and all, but after drinking a few glasses he agreed it did taste different in a good way.3. So so so easy to clean.4. I am very happy that the filter has no hard plastic shell and I won’t feel any guilt about replacements.5. It’s really pretty. I had a houseguest last week and she remarked that it was the prettiest water pitcher she had ever seen. I’m no minimalist but I do like to only buy things, even purely functional things, that make me smile when I look at it. This absolutely looks nice on the dinner table and impresses guests, all while being super functional.

Great tasting water - very delicate pitcher!
We bought our pH Replenish pitcher after our old plastic pitcher of another brand had all sorts of mold growing in the top! This glass pitcher is much better, easy to clean, I don't have to worry about unseen mold growing in it! The water tastes fantastic and so clean. My husband and I really noticed a difference once I forgot to put the filter pouch in!Sadly about 3 months and after surviving a move, the bottom chipped when were putting it back into the fridge. However, the customer service at Invigorated Water is excellent and sent us a new pitcher body! We just had to pay for shipping. Really appreciated the courtesy and looking forward to using again.
