High-quality, well-built pasta maker that delivers excellent results
The MARCATO Made in Italy Atlas 150 Classic Manual Pasta Maker is impressively well made. It’s solid, heavy, and feels like it’s built to last. The adjustment dial is precise, and the hand crank turns smoothly even with thicker dough. It produces consistent pasta sheets with clean edges and uniform thickness, making it easy to create a variety of pasta styles. Cleanup is simple as long as you follow the recommended method and let any dough dry before brushing it off. Overall, this is an excellent manual pasta maker that feels professional-grade and performs exactly as expected. Highly recommended for anyone serious about making fresh pasta at home.

Love This Pasta Maker!!!
I went old school with this pasta maker because my automatic pasta extrusion machine was very picky about the dough consistency, and it got to be way more hassle than it was worth. This manual pasta maker solved all of those problems! It is very well built, easy to use, and should last a very long time! It is also far better designed and constructed than the less expensive ones. But better to buy once & cry once! You still have to follow the 'classic' dough recipe but it is so much more forgiving than the automatic pasta makers if your proportions are off a little. Kneading the dough by hand does take a bit of work but that just makes it even more worth it. That said, once you start flattening and cutting your pasta with this little gem it makes the whole process just plain fun! Oh... and the pasta is fantastic!! The most important thing is DO NOT WASH this!! You need to read the instructions on how to dry clean the internal parts. It takes a little figuring out, especially how to remove the brush support rods and remove the brushes, but after the first time it gets easy.

An excellent pasta roller with great results!
I'd been looking at making fresh pasta for quite some time, and considered purchasing a Kitchenaid stand mixer (and all the very expensive pasta attachments) as well as hand-crank models that were decidedly less expensive, but perhaps required a bit more work. Thankfully, with the Marcato Atlas pasta machine, I found a reasonably-priced, very simple to use, overall excellent product that I'm very satisfied with! Best of all, I didn't need to invest in a new Kitchenaid stand mixer to make fresh pasta! I've never made fresh pasta before in my life, and I was most concerned about mixing the dough properly, which will be anyone's main concern in utilizing this roller to the fullest extent. My first time attempting to do this I was able to make the dough a fairly good consistency, but upon cutting the noodles (fettuccine was the first cutter used), I found they all stuck together too much during the nesting process. Not understanding I should have floured them more, I kneaded the dough back together and ran through the machine a second time. The second time went MUCH quicker, as I already felt like I had a handle on how the machine works, the number of times to move the pasta through, and the speed at which to do so. This time I hung the pasta over a tupperware container and had fresh pasta for dinner only minutes later! I would highly recommend this machine to others who are in a similar situation as myself. If you are able to mix dough either by hand or in a food processor (as I did) and get a good consistency, you will have consistently good pasta as well. One strange thing to note is that in the product description, this machine notes that it cuts spaghetti, fettuccine, flat dough sheets, and tagliolini. The actual cutter attachments that come with the machine are fettuccine and tagliolini, and you can also roll flat sheets; the spaghetti attachment is not included in the machine. We found the fettuccine a perfect thickness (5 is what the booklet recommended), and I'm sure by playing around a bit with the thicknesses (particularly on the tagliolini side), you could cut a pasta to your liking. I thought I would point that out for other customers considering this machine, in case they want to purchase the spaghetti cutter attachment alongside the machine.

Terrific pasta machine that is designed to last
There isn't much I can add that hasn't already been said by other reviewers about the Marcato Atlas Wellness 150 Pasta Maker. I purchased it based on the consistently excellent reviews and the fact that cooking schools use this model. I'm an experienced home cook but have never tried to make my own pasta. When I decided to take the plunge, I found that the Marcato Atlas is a "lifetime purchase", similar to buying a Le Creuset or cast iron piece of cookware. I chose the stainless model and I'm impressed with the workmanship. The only thing that would appear to be vulnerable to wear is the thickness dial for rolling the dough, but just about every reviewer on Amazon has reported that it has never broken. I made my first fettuccine last night using a basic recipe I found at Allrecipes and the pasta was top notch and very easy to do. The machine worked perfectly and made creating fresh pasta a breeze! My only mistake was not rolling the dough thin enough. Because of my naiveté in using a pasta maker, I used 3 as my final thickness and what I got was more like a Chinese noodle than Italian pasta. I now know that the thickness should be 7 before cutting it into strands. (On the other hand, I now know how to make a Chinese noodle for sesame sauce!) I am very pleased with this purchase. I know there are less expensive machines out there, and if you're unsure whether you'll really use a pasta maker over the long term, you might consider starting off with a less expensive brand rather than spending a lot of money on a Marcato. If you're someone who enjoys cooking, however, trust me that you'll love this pasta maker and it will change the way you look at pasta from here on out! From what I can see first hand, as well as cull from the many reviews that I've read, this is a solid piece of machinery that will last a very long time.

Great Quality, Wish It Came with More Accessories
This pasta maker is seriously well-made. The chrome steel feels solid and durable, and the whole machine has a timeless, classic feel to it. It was easy to set up and even easier to start using — I was rolling out pasta dough within minutes! So far, I’ve used it for lasagna sheets and fettuccine, and the results have been excellent. The rollers are smooth, the crank turns easily, and the thickness settings are intuitive. Cleanup is also simple if you follow the dry-cleaning method (no water!). That said, I do wish it came with a few more accessories right out of the box — maybe a ravioli attachment or a spaghetti cutter. You can buy those separately, but it would’ve been nice to have a bit more variety included, especially at this price point. Overall, I’m really happy with the performance and craftsmanship. If you're serious about homemade pasta and okay with adding attachments over time, this is a great machine to start with.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars, Outstanding!
I can confidently say this pasta maker has completely transformed my home cooking experience. This Italian-made beauty delivers on every promise and then some. The metal construction feels substantial and professional from the moment you unbox it. Unlike flimsy alternatives, this machine has the heft and precision you'd expect from authentic Italian craftsmanship. What struck me immediately was how smoothly the handle turns, even when working with thicker dough. I've made everything from delicate angel hair to robust lasagna sheets, and the results are consistently high-quality. The thickness settings are precise. I love how I can start at the widest setting and gradually work down to achieve the exact texture I want. The pasta comes out in such a way that you simply can't get from dried store-bought varieties. While the included attachments for fettuccine and tagliolini are fantastic, what really impressed me was the machine's versatility beyond pasta. I've successfully made dumpling wrappers, thin pizza dough, and even helped my kids create play-dough sheets for their crafts. The consistent thickness is perfect for any application requiring uniform dough rolling. At first, I hesitated about the investment, but this machine has more than paid for itself. The cost of quality fresh pasta at restaurants or specialty stores adds up quickly. I'm making superior pasta at home for a fraction of the cost, and the satisfaction of creating something special for my family is priceless. Highly recommended for anyone serious about exceptional homemade pasta!

Great product!
Well, worth the money! I love the added pasta feature that you can remove from the top. They also make additional attachments for this machine. Very easy to use and clean.
