Superb kit
I am using this to build a scale model Tudor House. Its frame is Oak so it’s a hard wood. This machine works brilliantly out of the box and the blade that came with it is fine. I fitted an old vacuum cleaner to collect the dust and that works well too. The fitted spotlights are a superb idea and it’s very quiet to use. If I had anything negative it would be that the cutting table has rounded edges and the back of the table has no measure on it. This means it’s quite difficult to square up wood even with the metal cutting guide. The cutting guide itself could also have another smaller one as this is quite tall. Not insurmountable issues but could have made it even better. Great value for money too.

Fantastic bandsaw.
Very easy to set up. Works without fault and so, so easy to use. It's also very quite in operation.I'm a walking stick maker. It used to my an hour to cut out one handle blank. It took 5 minutes to cut out two blanks I'm very please with my purchase

Excellent value for money, takes a bit of care setting up.
This is a nicely made product and feels very robust. It could be improved by having better lateral control of the blade, possibly with bearings rather than just guide bushes. There is a bearing, but it doesn't seem to do anything. The fence is a little flimsy (hence 4* rather than 5) but I'll make a replacement for that held with clamps front and back. I've tried it so far with oak up to 60 mm thick and it cuts with ease, though the precision is limited by the weak fence clamping. It arrived almost ready to go, needed very little assembly, though the saw guides weren't set at all and the tension on the blade was low. The blade carries a lot of fine dust into the innards of the machine so you have to clean it out after use, even with a vac hose attached during the cutting. It is exceptionally good value for a valuable addition to a hobby woodwork shop. If I were the manufacturer I'd seriously look at the cost of making a better fence fitting, and fitting bearing blade guides, as these small changes would make it unbeatable at anywhere near this price point.

Excellent
I waited years to get a bandsaw thinking I would probably have little use for one but boy was I wrong , I'm 73 years old now and my eyesight is fading a bit , I have 3 table saws / chop saws but have become a bit wary of using them especially cutting thin pieces where I would need to use a puch stick , I find this saw a big game changer for me , nice sturdy table ,cutting ply and pine was effortless ,very quiet while it's running and it also has lights that shine on to the cutting area making it so much easier for me to see .Woodworking has always been my hobby, and now spend my days making different things like wherligigs and children's toys . I know a little about the technical side of machines but I was mostly guided by the price , but of all the ones I looked at I'm glad a chose this one , just wish I hadn't dithered for so many years before buying one 😊👍

Needs improvement.
Blade is useless replace with a proper one. The doors need sealing for the dust extraction to work efficiently. The lights are good as is the table. Very little vibration and easy to use. Easy to Change the blade (1400mm).I probable have 10 hours use before writing this.I make letters and numbers, whirligigs, signs and animals.I am well aware this is not a high end machine however a cheap bandsaw is better than no bandsaw just beware it needs work to bring it up to a reasonable standard.

great little device
easy to setup. In fact, not much to do really - attach base. Blade already in place and adjusted. Not used it much so far as its still new. But the term 'hot knife through butter' springs to mind. This is a perfect size for me being a DIY'er. But I can see why it gets the 'hobby' label. A serious wood worker would probably want something larger (and of course more expensive).
