I travel for work every other week if not more and have my travel items down to a science. Typically, I take my regular sized Travelpro carry on or my eBags TLS Hybrid spinner but traveling as often as I do, the smaller the better and less is definitely more. So, in search of an even smaller carry on, I ordered the Amazon Basics 18” Spinner and the Travelpro Walkabout 3 19" International Expandable Carry On Spinner to compare (see pics).The Amazon Basics 18” is slightly smaller but fits just as much stuff as the Travelpro 19”, it has smoother zippers, it’s easier to maneuver, it has double wheels for stability, much better internal organization, it’s half the price (Amazon Basics $54.99, Travelpro - $98.99) and all around the Amazon Basics feels better and lighter when filled with the same exact load.I was able to fit enough carefully selected items for a Mon-Fri business trip: work shoes, thin slippers, blow up pillow and pillow case for the sleepless hotel nights when the pillows feel like bricks, quick dry micro fleece travel towel which doubles as a blanket for those nights on uncomfortable hotel couches when you just wish you had a nice blanket while watching TV, water pick, 3 business pants, 3 sleeveless business tops, 1 suit jacket, 1 business lightweight cardigan, underwear for 5 days, pajamas, 2 t-shirts, 1 lightweight sweatpants, jewelry, mirror, portable speaker, lightweight water repellant jacket, and travel wipes. Toiletries did not fit so I’ll carry them in my laptop bag along with a lightweight zip-up jacket, umbrella, snacks, portfolio, documents, chargers, mouse, laptop, receipt pouch, and crossbody purse which fits in the laptop bag.

I purchased this bag to help me on a long business trip from the United States to the Middle East. I had several stops and layovers. I didn’t want to have a large bag to lug around, but needed to have clothes, important toiletries, and my laptop at my side. This bag was perfect!Pros: under 6lbs when empty, rolls easily, compartments to organize important items, and sleek/professional lookingCons: a little front heavy with laptop in the front pouch, extended handle is a little loose, and when you put a backpack or other bag on top, becomes very front heavy

Great value for the price. Isn’t perfectly balanced and may tip when you push it, but does roll decently for the most part. The handle on mine is weird and doesn’t necessarily lock in place securely. Both these issues are minor to me, because for the price, this bag seems great. Good material and seems durable so far. I love the built in lock system. Bag is a good size and looks classy. I got the 21 inch size and it qualifies for like 99% of airline carry on restrictions. Get the smallest size (18 inch) if you really need 100% compliance. For the price I give this 5 stars. If you need perfection, you need to go up the price bracket. This is as good as it gets for the sub $100 range.

It is light, small (good for budget airlines in Europe) and the inside is plain and simple, as I wanted it. Superficially good. But as some other reviewers have said, when extended, the handle often collapses (or rather, fails to stay extended). Also, I found that it moves somewhat diagonally (crab-like?) when in walking-the-dog mode. Wheels are not great. I took this on a 7-day trip and regretted it enough to buy a different one (TravelPro) immediately afterwards. I won't be using this again.

Great little suitcase. Holds a lot more than you’d think. Since some airlines are really cracking down on carry on size, it fits in the Air Canada sizer like a charm. Saw another flyer have to check her bag because it did not fit, and I was secretly chuckling.

We got this for my husband to bring on overnight work trips. He really loves it. It has the perfect amount of space and he said it's super easy to maneuver. It's a nice little suitcase.

This carryon says it will hold up to a 16" laptop. My husband's measures almost 14.5" and would not fit in the front intended pocket, nor would it fit inside the suitcase in the zippered pouch on the front. See photos.
