Dreaming Girls: Art Collection of Macoto Takahashi (Japanese Edition)

An excellent, high-quality book full of wonderful illustrations. Bought one for myself, and having seen the quality, bought another as a gift to a friend who loves the artist and art of beautiful girls in general.

Been a fan since I was a kid and still one of my favorite children's book illustrators. Large sized book with lovely matte prints.

I am in Love with this book! Is so gorgeous and the paper quality is very good :D Also made ​​a trip to Latin America (Chile) and arrive in perfect condition.

If you love macoto this book is for you.

I brought this lovely collection of Takahashi Macoto's work for my sister as a birthday present. The pictures are very nice and I think do show quite a large variety of his art, certainly enough for you to be able to recognise where he got inspiration for some of the pictures. For example the English bride is very obviously Diana, Princess of Wales on her wedding day, with her hair colour changed from blonde to brown.We were able to struggle through the Japanese section at the back of the book which gives further details about the artist and his work.If you don't read Japanese and want this book for more than looking at pictures, then I do not suggest buying it.

Such a pleasure to own this beautiful collection of gorgeous art! The book is large and has plenty pages full of pretty girls, fashion, fowers, architecture, animals....It would be nice to know what the japanese text says but it is not a big deal that I don't. The amount I paid for this was pretty good too but to be honest, no matter the price, its absolutely worth having this.

I love it, got it as a gift for my sister and it is exactly as described, great quality.Only 4 stars because during shipping the corners of the book are slightly damaged, it should have been sent in a box to protect it better. Otherwise everything is great.
