Nice Lamp
Is it worth $300? No, no lamp is... If you can get this on a discount, it is great. Assembly is easy but the base is a pain to get started due to the weight of the bottom. Nice lamp though, I am happy with it.

good lamp, flickers alittle, stock bulbs stunk
We love the lamp overall, the reason i docked 1 star is because the bulbs that came it it had a weird flicker and ominous humming coming from them, especially when you dimmed the bulbs.Overall construction seems good.This is a large lamp and the amount of light it gives is awesome

Looks great AND casts a ton of light
Easy to assemble once you have unwrapped the incredibly elaborate packaging (more on this later). Takes 10-15 minutes and the only tool required is provided. Including the bulbs is a really nice touch and they arrived undamaged. Looks as great in reality as it does on the screen. You can move all of the arms to get just the right configuration. Provides a LOT of light - which I really wanted. The packaging was effective but incredibly annoying. I have tiny, clingy, static-ey pieces of styrofoam everywhere. Strongly recommend unpackaging out of doors and using something to remove the styrofoam from your clothing before bringing it inside. I did not include that as a factor in my 5-star rating because the product itself is terrific.

The big box that should of had the shades in it was completely empty. No shades.

If you are looking for a light like this, do not hesitate, I only wish I could order another one in gold for another room!The dimmer feature is great and it gives off a ton of light.

Fabulous
Wow, this is such a great lamp. The lights come over the chairs we sit in. It provides wonderful light so we can read or do hand work with ease. The light looks awesome.

NEEDS REPAIR ALREADY
We've only had this lamp a few weeks and one of the sockets has gone bad and will have to be replaced. We gambled on Amazon's quality and lost. We no longer have the packing materials so we can't return it, we will have to pay to have the socket fixed!
