fun way to catch fish
this thing definitely attracts fish. I used it in Florida last week and had a school of 150 white trout circling after 3 hours. SUPER bright. We threw it in the pool one night for kicks and took our party to the next level!Customer service is on point. They have answered all of my questions and even expedited the shipping so I could receive it while on vacation.I wouldn't leave the light submerged for days on end, especially in saltwater. Take it out and hose it off during the day to avoid barnacles and other such problems.Seems to me like Green Blob outdoors will fix/repair anything that goes wrong with it.Happy customer!

Doesn't Work
I purchased this very expensive underwater light for a home that I was remodeling in Florida. I received it promptly and kept it in the box until the project was complete almost 9 months later. Upon completion, I took it out of the box, tested it before I put it in the water underneath my dock and plugged it in. I set the included timer for the light to only operate for 4 hours a night so as to attempt to preserve its life span, hoping that it would last longer than what the majority of the reviewers mentioned in this products reviews. So here is my experience with the Blob in the few months that it actually worked as advertised. It appeared to do as advertised in that it did seem to attract various kinds of fish, from small pinfish to small snapper and even some Snook. Initially, I was thrilled with the results, however after a few months only half of the light was working and after a couple of more months, the Blob stopped working altogether, so in essence I paid a premium for a light that effectively operated for about a total of 6 months. It appears that the light is not sufficiently protected from water intrusion given that it is designed to be immersed in water and that problem seems to cause connectivity issues. I am trying to contact the sellers to inquire as to what kind of remedies they can offer in a case where their light only operated for a handful of months. I'll update this review after I contact them which hopefully will not be as frustrating for me as it has been for others that have experienced similar problems with this light. I also intend to contact Amazon to report this light as not meeting the high standards that they expect from their sellers and the products they they sell on the amazon platform.

An amazing value! Super bright and totally portable!
These lights saved us a boatload of money! Our previous hardwired lights cost us $7,000 and lasted 2 years. I'm so tired of getting ripped off! Super bright, totally light and portable.... Excellent gift for your favorite angler!

Ursula likes our light!
Had to send my light back for repairs but the company has been communicating with me and assured me that will light will be fixed or replaced. Good to know because my new wild pet, Ursula, in our backyard canal aquarium has missed our attention! She is a large snook that we see nightly and she actually comes to the top when I talk to her. I’m always waiting for her to jump and bite something, but she just floats calmly right next to where I am! My husband thinks it’s hysterical! And NO, I will never harm her, because she is not food, she is entertainment!

The rating of 30,000 lumina is a joke! The neighbor’s 7,500 is just as good for a lot less money.
Easy to install but absolutely NOT worth the money! It’s not any better than the cheap lights.

Make sure your light doesn’t sit on the lake bottom.
We love our Green Blob! The best value for the money! Great entertainment for the entire dock!(including 2 Labrador Retrievers 😁)

Shipping sucked but the light is awesome
The light is pretty awesome. It is bright and attracts fish for sure. That said, it was shipped via USPS and that was a nightmare. It took weeks for whatever reason (size of box, bad package handling?). I would agree that having two or more of these would be ideal for a longer pier. I bought this as a gift for a friend, so, if you know someone with a pier that loves to fish, it's a great gift.
