I wanted to used for my glass planter.There were many different beads inside packets and I only used blue, green and clear - please see photo.The size varies. I just filled water and waited for about 6 hours to expand fully.Hope my baby plant will grow nicely.

Brilliant item, I got these for sensory play in my sons tuff tray, I didn’t expect much for the price and when a tiny packet with tiny balls arrived I though they would be no good. I was however mistaken and after soaking in water for a couple of hours they grew into marble sized balls filling a large plastic tub and more than enough for his tray. Stored in a tub and still holding size and shape after 3 weeks. Would recommend.

Good value for money and good quality

It might to be my perception, but I'm sure these broke more easily than higher priced versions do. For example I had a batch of the pricy version from last year that we'd dry out, store and reuse for nearly a year. Until they broke. So we thought to try these ones and while they were fun and cheap and colourful, they started to break apart within the day.

Perfect for sensory play

I was a bit surprised when the order turned up and it was a teeny tiny bag of really small bead like balls. I’ve never ordered the before or how they worked so I didn’t know what to expect. There was no instructions with it so I had to take a guess and just tipped them in to a big mixing bowl of water filled 3/4 to the top. After an hour or so they got a tiny bit bigger and started to think they were rubbish, come evening time they expanded to the size of marbles. I drained the water the next day and left them in the bowl for my son to play with and he absolutely loved them, played for hours! Please bare in mind they bounce like bouncy balls and feel a bit slimy so tidying them up was a nightmare. I gave 3 stars purely because I think there a bit pricey for what it is. We wasn’t able to reuse them because the crush easily into like a slush and my son didn’t understand he wasn’t supposed to do that.

Arrived quickly and packaged well. These water beads lasted for ages. We have to fill them up with water again and leave for a couple of hours every 3-4 days, but had no problems with this product. My daughter loved playing with these and they are very colourful - great for teaching young ones the name of colours!
