This item is significantly overpriced. When you consider my new top stand was $108 and my hoist was $179, paying $275 for an aluminum frame, screen and two small mounting clamps is a bit outrageous. The only thing I can figure is they charge the same for this as they do for the folding, four piece set-up they use on four passenger convertibles, where it has to cover the back seat and fold-up to fit in the trunk. To add insult to injury, it really doesn't make any difference. That's more a testament to Ford's design efforts than a knock on this product. The one positive is that it's a perfect fit for still allowing the soft top up and down while in place. That being said, I'm still aware of the screen every time I use the rear view mirror or look out over the seats. I wish I had better results, but it is what it is.

The wind deflector is effective. Creating a turbulence free cabin even at high speeds in my Thunderbird. Tested it on a 1000 mile drive through the Texas hill country this spring. It truly made a great difference in the enjoyment of the trip. Conversation in a normal voice at 70 mph. Good purchase.
