THE RIGHT, PROPER TRUSSING CASE FOR THE JOB!
I had two other cases by On Stage, but they were barely long enough to hold my push-up type truss stands, and trusses (I-beam type).I had to fight like bloody-L to get the trusses into the On Stage cases. But when I added a crank up truss to my gig inventory, I discovered the On Stage cases were not long enough for the crank up trussing stands. After a long search through the web, I finally learned from a youtube video about the Arriba Cases line of products. The author warned not to get the AC-180 as it looks like this one, but is still not going to hold crank up stands like this one can.I was greatly relieved when I was able to slip my crank stands right into the case with no fighting at all. At last, I won't look like a rank amateur when I show up to gigs with my gear.I like that the AC-185 not only holds all my trussing gear (crank ups), but that it has rugged hand grips at both ends, as well as the center grip. I also like that it has a set of wheels, though I wish it had wheels at both ends for heavier gear. Not a problem though.I like that you can open up the case widely to easily insert, and remove gear from it without the knock-down, drag-out you have to go through with the On Stage cases. Easy access. :)I also like the side pouch where I can stow tools, and electrical cabling associated with the trussing. My only gripe is that the case does not zip closed along the center line of the flaps. It uses several Velcro patches. I'm sure the lack of a zipper is due to the banana peal style closure of the flaps, and a zipper along the center line would be a bit tricky to engage, like a coat zipper, I suppose. However, it does have zippers that come from the sides at both ends of the bag. I recommend you use a twisty-ties in the zippers, or luggage locks to prevent the zippers opening during transit to, and from gigs. I think it would have been better if Arriba had run the Velcro the entire length of the bag to ensure a more rain resistant closure. Perhaps I'll sew in some more Velcro patches later on as time permits.Oh, if you loose the rubber end caps from your crank stands, I highly recommend you get replacements, or at least slip in a bit of lexan, or thin wood at the ends to stop the ends of the crank stands, and trusses tearing the fabric lining of the bag.I noticed a nice touch on this bag, and that's the hard plastic at the ends of the bag which should help protect the bag during transit.Certainly the right, proper trussing bag for the job where crank stands are concerned.

Fits my crank up stands
So far so good, looks durable and has plenty of room for extra gear.

Sturdy, holds at least two "tree"-type Lighting Stands (i.e., CH-02)
Excellent case. EASILY holds two Chauvet CH-02 light stands (tripod, extending to 12ʻ, top cross bar, sw/ two side arms), actually a bit large, so i have to strap the stands/arms together to keep them in place. Probably could fit 3 comfortably, and four in a tight squeeze. As other reviewers note, there is no bracing in the middle ~27" - the ~17" ends are very sturdily braced with formed plastic - not sure what kind, but it does not flex under load. There is a zippered compartment inside that runs the length of the back of the case - it doesnʻt look like it would hold a lot - but might be perfect for inserting a firm brace/board to provide a rigid base across the entire length.Yes, it is expensive, but given the alternative of strapping the stand parts together without any case for storage/handling, and carrying them without wheels, it was a must-have.Thank you, Arriba Products! Now all i need is a roadie . . .meow

The Case for Your Poles
I love this case! I have the Chauvet CH-31 truss, and this case is just big enough to fit the length of the poles. While my truss unit has 4 large pieces, I believe there is room for a few more poles (maybe speaker, microphone stands). This case makes transport of these large items much easier, and to be honest, more professional. When empty, the case itself can be folded, as it is mainly a bag with 2 solid end caps. The strength of the case is given by the poles inside. Since my truss fills the entire bag, the case is very sturdy when wheeling it. I expect the case to last for a good while as the material seems solid. (Just like other Arriba cases).

Finally, a bag that fits my truss!
After trying another bag and being disappointed, I tried this one. I was able to fit my truss, and stands in this bag.Access is great with zippers on the sides and Velcro on the top. The side pockets are a good perk to have as well.I play in a local band about 2-3 times a week and this bag suits my needs just fine. Keep in mind that this bag is protecting a truss and stands, which are pretty durable by themselves. There isn't any padding on the top portion, so I wouldn't recommend it for carrying lighting or controllers which are much more fragile. Good buy!

The bag does have the velcro top closure flaps but it is well built and very sturdy. Worth every penny and great quality
This case was exactly what I needed!! It hold the entire light bridge system and an extra 5 foot section. The two crank up stands and three 5 foot sections all fit into the bag. The bag does have the velcro top closure flaps but it is well built and very sturdy. Worth every penny and great quality.

Very long but good quality
The truss is so heavy And havinf this makes it much easier to carry and put away.. I wish i had a truck for this because it is taller than 5'8 (taller than me) standing up. Made out of good quality and very proffessional.
