Go for it
A must-buy if you’re looking to create a positive environment at home with a delightful fragrance. I’ve tried both Hanan and Rashid—both are amazing, but Hanan stands out just a bit more!

Good packaging, okayish fragrance
The packaging was done exceptionally well to ensure that the product does not get damaged. 10/10 for that. Coming to fragrance, it's very, very strong. I could be wrong but I guess the chemical components took over the fragrances across all 3 notes. Ajmal needs to rework on the composition of this Bakhoor. I did not like it but there could be someone who likes it. 3/5 for fragrance. 5/5 for the effort put in for packaging.

Soothing and Rich fragrance
Got this as a trial and error when I was experimenting with home fragrances and I have to admit you will throw away your agarbattis and dhoop sticks after using this dakhoon. It is not something uncommon as compared to even more pricey Ajmal dakhoon products but it is good to start with. Your brain will tell you have sniffed this somewhere but nevertheless, you will definitely love it and those who pass by your house will also wonder where such a good fragrance is coming from.Packing: This product comes in a airtight plastic box and the wet scented balls are wrapped in aluminum foil to prevent sun rays and heat changing the composition of the fragrance, keep it that way only till the last ball. All balls, except for 3-4, were of uniform wetness.Usage: I use this on a small electric burner and the scent is rich and soothing. There is no smoke , it is not suffocating or very strong either except when burnt in a poorly ventilated room.- The dakhoon ball is soft and can be broken into three parts for usage three times in a day. The dakhoon has to be crushed with fingers into smaller parts and evenly spread out on the burner plate. Wetter the dakhoon, stronger the scent and longer burning time. After 30 minutes, ensure to rearrange the dakhoon for uniform burning till the residue becomes hard after which it has to be thrown away.- I use 1/3 of a dakhoon at a time and it fills the entire home (1300SqFt flat) evenly. I keep moving the burner to different rooms for the maximum effect. Doing this, the scent will dominate the air in the home easily for 3-4 hrs. For a larger flat, use half dakhoon at a time. Conclusion: Even if this is your blind buy, you will not regret it if you use it in a way I mentioned above. I avoided using charcoals, which is the actual procedure to use a dakhoon, as I have breathing issues after covid attack but I didn't feel any problem using electric burner and neither any family members complain when this is being used.Note to Ajmal: Of all the balls, some 3-4 were didn't have the wetness as the remaining balls and the fragrance from them was also short lived and I could smell faint burning wood from those defective ones. Please ensure to put a QC on uniformity of dukhoon wetness.

Good stuff
I bought some very expensive bakhoor in Dubai and was mesmerized by the smell. Since then I have been on the hunt for some good reasonably priced bakhoor in India. Ajmal's bakhoor is definitely very decent for the price. The scent diffuses well and lingers for a long time. So yes, a good buy.
