Indispensable if you cut concrete!
I was a little bit skeptical about this accesory for my 9" grinder to cut the concrete slab at home to remodel my bathroom, but once i put it on my grinder....connected my shopvac and turn it on......the magic came on!!! Literally 0 dust at all!!! Plus protects you from flying debry coming from the cutting.......it cuts 2 3/8 at full depth, but my concrete slab is only 4" so it wasnt difficult to go through it....i cut a 16" wide by 12 ft in 1 hour and 2 blades

10% Is Not Good Enough
It blows dust all over the place, Eve with the matching Makita vac on full power. The grinder/cutter blade turns so that it’s leading edge is on the opposite side of the shroud as the intake for for hose attachment. It blows dust out the front. I don’t see any way for the vac to catch this dust and as you can see in the pictures included, it doesn’t. I would estimate that it maybe caught 10% of the dust created by the blade. Seems poorly designed. Big, bulky PITA that might be worth it IF it actually worked. As is, I was back to using my other saws within 10 minutes of trying this one. What a disappointment.
