Stable, sturdy, easy setup
After a couple years of battling with the original sliding tray on my desk, its runners finally gave out. I detached what was left and decided to take a shot on this replacement tray. The item arrived much more quickly than the shipper indicated (which was a huge bonus!) and it was easy to set-up. The tray requires four screws to attach the clamps to the tray, and they screwed into the provided holes with no issue. That's it, there was nothing else to do. It was ready to install! If you appear to be missing the screws, I suggest checking the plastic wraps the other pieces of the product come in: with mine, the packet with the screws was taped to the covering for the large keyboard bag, and I almost threw them out as it went unnoticed at first. The screws are very small and light, so if you think they're missing, I would carefully check over the keyboard bag. This isn't relevant to everyone: I have a glass desktop with a slight convex curve and a floating support cross-bar underneath the desktop, about 1-inch back from the edge. The clamps and pads attached to my desk without problem. The bottom flange of the clamp did not run into the bar; the bolts that fasten the clamp pads to the underside of the desk did run up against the support bar to a slight degree -- resting directly against it -- but not enough to impact the tray's stability or ease of installation in any manner. (If your support bar runs directly up against the desktop and is also less than 2-inches back from the edge, this product will likely not work for you.)Be aware: if your desk's design is like mine, with the bar and the height of the clamps, you may not have the same amount of hand-space between your fingers and the keyboard as with your original tray. With my desk's original keyboard tray, I would often type with my hands under the desktop, now the tray must be fully extended or my fingers hit the bar.The tray is sturdy and stable, made of a solid-feeling black plastic, and the clamps are solid, black metal. The tray is slightly smaller than the desk's original, but seems to be about standard size for a wooden desk tray: it has just enough room for the keyboard and mouse. If you're looking for something you can also put a small notepad or other item on in addition to your keyboard and mouse, this will not allow for doing so. The surface of the tray is lightly textured (in my case, this meant the rubber grip on my keyboard wrist pad is not sticking to the surface, requiring repeated adjustment). There is a dull white TechOrbits logo on the left-hand clamp, if that sort of thing bothers you. I don't spend a lot of time staring at the clamps, though, so this sort of branding isn't really an issue.I have only owned this product for a few days, but am so far impressed with its stability and sturdiness.

Great Keyboard Tray
I received the item and it was well packaged. I like that one of the clamps has the logo of the company. It's not tacky at all. It is sturdy enough for me. Unless you plan on resting your elbows and leaning on it, probably not that sturdy, but for normal usage such as typing and moving your mouse around it's perfect. It was easy to install. The sliding mechanism was already attached to the tray and all I had to do was screw in the clamps which was pretty straightforward. One of the videos showed an incorrect placement of where the screw should be, you can't miss it. There are 2 perfect holes that fit the screws it came with to attach the clamps on the tray. Also, the instructions are on the back of the box, which I think was pretty cool.

Great addon to a table or desk as a way of organizing or providing better ergonomic typing.
I bought this to help eliminate some of the clutter on my desk, while also providing me with a more ergonomic typing situation. I've been pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to install and use so far. It slides easily back and forth and looks great attached to my Ikea desk. The hooks that attach to the desk are metal, the tray seems like a strong plastic or wood, but the sliders for the tray appear to be straight plastic. Those definitely appear to be the weakest link in the chain here, so I'd be careful when sliding it in and out. With that said, I haven't really had a problem yet and the keyboard seems to sit securely in any position I leave it.Only issue I have is that it does make a little creeking noise when not slid out all the way, but it seems to go away when I slide it out fully. Definitely happy so far and it looks good attached to any table top.

Works great for electric stand up desk!
The media could not be loaded. After buying and returning several keyboard trays, because I have an electric standup desk, the trays and/or the mounting brackets for the trays were interfering with the system underneath the desk. This tray fits perfectly and doesn’t interfere with any of the parts underneath the desk. It is also a very high quality tray and the sliders are very smooth. It also fits both my keyboard and mouse with a little extra room on the sides. Extra bonus is that you don’t have to mount anything and put extra holes in the bottom of your desk. I wish I would have found this one first! I highly recommend it!

Nice tray with one MAJOR flaw
The media could not be loaded. Easy to install and remove, nice size, sturdy. Overall a decent keyboard tray. There is one important feature missing, however. The tray slides very smoothly, but needs a stop to hold it in the open position. I am constantly fighting to keep it open as I type. No, my desk is not sloped. It's a built-in desk with a countertop surface that is perfectly level. The keyboard tray just constantly pulls itself inward. I will be trying to rig it to stay open but at this point I am considering replacing it entirely. See the video attached to see what I mean about how it refuses to stay open.

One of the best purchases I have made on Amazon!
This product has truly been a ergonomic lifesaver for me. I bought this because I have two remote jobs at the moment, meaning I am on my computer and desk for most of the day. Because I have so many monitors, keyboards and laptops that I am working with, my desk gets cluttered very easily. I took a chance on this product and it paid off tremendously.Pros:1.) Easy to install- it took me about 30 mins to install this on my desk and the instructions are very clear.2.) Durable- I have been using this since August 22nd of this year and it has shown no signs of wear and tear so far. If I am eating food I can put multiple plates on it as well without issue, so it functions as a makeshift second table as well.Cons: None so farPoints to consider:1.) Make sure your desk is both thick and long enough to accomodate this item. I have seen several other reviews here mentioning the same thing and so before I bought mine, I measured the length and width of my table to make it easy.
