Tough Headband Neck Gaiter Mask for Men & Women - Neck Gaiter Face Mask & Dust Protection w/UV for Fishing, Running & Hiking

Just got back from a hike to Hurricane Deck in Los Padres National Forest. It was my first real backpacking trip and I learned a lot about what I need to be prepared in the wilderness. Out of all of the gear I brought with me, I cannot endorse this headband enough, as ridiculous as that may sound to heap this much praise on a stretchy piece of fabric. The minute we hit strong winds, I was able to bring this down to cover my face. Throughout the entire trip, it served me as a neck gaiter in the rain, a headband in the heat, and a face cover for my mouth and nose at night when I was freezing. I was really impressed at the versatility of this product and would recommend it to anyone heading into the outdoors. It's thin and light and perfect, whether it's for a morning jog or heading to the wilderness. Definitely happy with this product.

Initially, I thought the produce was just ok. I bought it for COVID-19. As I was trying other products however, this product shined the most. This neck gaiter is made out of a stretchy cotton like material. It is easier to breath than the nylon variety. It is one continuous tube without any seams. I can rotate it so I can breath on a different area of the cloth. The other brand had a seam. I can not rotate the neck gaiter so freely or flip the cloth inside out. Face masks will expire and has to be discarded. I can hand wash or machine wash the neck gaiter at the end of the day and it will be ready to use the next day The best way I use this is to fold the cloth in half to create two layers for better protection. When not in use, I leave it on my neck or twist and fold it in a way that it will fit on my wrist or you can fold and put it in your pocket.

For anyone that every enjoyed covering their head, weather it be a ball cap or a bandana, I recommend adding one of these to your arsenal. They are so versatile. I won't go into details of the 20 things you can do with this product because the company's website does it well. Great product at a great price. Brands: This product is by Tough and you may be aware of its competitor, BUFF. I think BUFF is a higher quality because it's material feels thicker and softer. Of course, it cost more than twice as much. So, I can equally recommend the Tough brand. The material is thinner, but I won't say that it is of poor quality. I have worn the Tough product very much and it is just that... tough! Unlike BUFF, Tough's fabric is a little more sheer which, during the summer months, may be more desirable. In the end, I would recommend the Tough brand especially based on its price point and color selection.

I have been dealing with chronic migraines with aura since I was in my early teens. If I do not intervene when a migraine starts; it could last for days, weeks, or even months. Last fall, my go to medication for intervention stopped working. My neurologist tried to find a new one that I could tolerate, and that would work. We tried several different medications over the course of a few months. Nothing was working. My migraines started lasting longer and longer each time, breaking only after weeks of medication. In January, I woke up with a migraine that was a lot worse than most of the ones I'd had before. Unlike the others, this one didn't finally go away after a few weeks of medication. It persisted, grew worse, and resisted any attempt at treatment. Inflammation plays a large role in chronic migraines. My neurologist suggested Botox as a treatment, but it was taking weeks to get insurance approval. In the meantime, he suggested that I used cold therapy to alleviate some of the pain. I had a few smaller ice packs leftover from a wisdom teeth removal a few years ago, and found that they worked well when pressed against each of my trigger points (two at base of head, two right above my temples). But trying to keep them in place was impossible. I improvised for a while by using an old headband, but it wasn't really big enough to hold them properly. Luckily, the botox approval came through, and I was able to start the treatment. The botox has helped to significantly reduce the intensity of the pain and my other symptoms. But the ice packs still come in handy on the rare days that the pain gets out of control. Looking for a better way to keep them in place when I do use them, I ordered one of these headbands to try. I have used it twice this week already, and it works wonderfully. It is just tight enough to hold the packs on my head and provide a little pressure, but not tight enough to be uncomfortable. I have started telling everybody I know to get one of these and a few small ice packs, and to keep them on hand for any time they get a headache. I go back into the neurologist for a check up next week, and I plan on telling him too. More migraine sufferers need to try this. It's incredibly effective and affordable; and, unlike other treatments, it has no side effects.
