HHT OEM Quadrafire, Heatilator & Heat N Glo Wall Switch (HTI-12-007) - Original OEM Part

My unit showed up with non-functioning keys. I am happy that the seller/amazon quickly did an advanced replacement. I put the new unit into operation 10 minutes after it arrived. It installed lickety-split and works awesome! It's a great product at a great price. Thanks to the seller/amazon for being so customer-centric - I am still very satisfied with this device and transaction.

Arrived intact (although it was only wrapped in plastic and inside a padded envelope), was very easy to install, and worked perfectly. The true test will be how long it lasts--the original switch had a cheap conductive material on the back of the buttons which wore off in about 5 years; hopefully this one will fare better. As for value for money, it was quite expensive for a light-weight, simple electric switch; unfortunately it was the exact switch needed, nothing else would do.

Had a fireplace tech out to inspect a Heat and Glo unit that wouldn’t turn on. He told me the wall control unit was broken and said he wasn’t sure they could source a new one. I found the exact match here and installed myself. It is 3 wires; super easy. Worked like a charm!

We bought a new house that had one of these controllers and some of the buttons did not work. Replaced it with this and it works without any issues. Only 3 wires to screw down on the back so it was very easy to install.

Like. This part was easy to install by a nonprofessional, and my fireplace now works again. The wall switch on these direct vent fireplaces apparently becomes non-functional after several years. This was an amazing deal for a fireplace that will now work.

Old wall mounted remote fireplace remote died. This replacement was great. Only complaint is the sill expensive cost.

As with other reviews, our fireplace (in the house we just moved into) worked fine with the thermostat control but not with the 'turn on flame' button. So it was simple to drop in this exact replacement in the place of the original control unit. Just three low voltage wires, well labeled 'red', 'yellow', 'green', had to be disconnected from the old unit and connected to the new and, in five minutes total, everything now works perfectly. I gave it four stars instead of five because, as per other reviews, it came in just a plastic bag with no box, no installation or operating instructions, etc. and it's pretty pricey for what it is and does. The unit is semi-intuitive so I think I've figured it out but I still don't know what, if anything, the 'snowflake' button does on my fireplace. I gave it four stars instead of three because: 1) even if pricey, I knew what it cost going in, 2) the installation was very intuitive and simple, and 3) it did work as advertised once installed.

Only to find out after hooking it up half of the display doesn’t even work. Extremely disappointing to pay all that money wait all that time and still have a brand new unit that doesn’t even work. I will be returning this to the supplier. This product came in the home brand new and if you’re looking to buy a gas fireplace, do not buy Heatilator products. Nothing but problems.
