Amazing Author and even more amazing illustrations. Bought for a child but learned a lot myself!

Worth every penny

The books is great but if you are buying from Amazon note it comes unwrapped and on a small box which ruined the corners. I bought this as a gift and now not sure I can give in this state!

My 1yo son really likes this book - I bought it because I feel like you learn a lot about awesome men through school, etc, but sometimes need to make an effort to teach about strong women. What I don’t like is it seems like the authors assumed this book would be only for girls - the last page is a mirror to reflect another awesome woman...

Would not recommend. Whereas there are one or two great pages in this book, there are way too many inappropriate images for small girls or boys. I wanted to inspire my girls to grow up to be women with ambition. However, not in this way; the book has many women illustrated as being naked/half naked. Example above: a naked 'goddess' covered up only with her hair. Not the best message to send small girls - that to be beautiful and show love you must take your clothes off...

Decent and a good mix of historical and present day women bar the TERF.

Great quality book full of inspiring female figures. The end is just so special, all children should read it.

Bought this for my 12-month-old grandbaby and she is obsessed! She has other books with mirrors in them but this one has the largest mirror of them all. It is a full page mirror at the end. She likes looking at the pictures too but her favorite page is the one she refers to by her name, because she sees her cute little face in it. Great book for a toddler to have fun with and maybe learn about influential women eventually.

I wae excited to read this to my daughter. It arrived with the spine broken and it looked used. So disappointed. I would give zero stars if it were possible.

Great choices of women of inspiration! And illustrations are a unique blend of mediums; cartoon illustrations with real-looking hair and unique swatches of textiles and textures. My daughter LOVES this book, especially the mirror at the end with the message that you too are an inspirational and AWESOME girl.
