A little disappointing
Windows rip easily in little wind and leaks keep appearing so a little disappointed.

A basic item that seemed good VFM and was easily modified.
As with all polytunnels in this price range you get what you pay for. However this one was easily modified with the addition of a few robust long ground pegs and some battens to ensure it is firmly secured to the ground. It has withstood two gales and was winter planted.3 months onHowever, the third gale flattened it. Wasn't that bad a gale (around force 6 but the tunnel failed completely) Framework collapsed cover ripped. Back to drawing board

Good at the price, easy to assemble.
I was looking for a replacement cover for my existing poly-tunnel but at this price bought it. The cover fits my existing frame though the quality is poorer than the original. I don't expect the zip door to work for long. The frame is good and was easy to assemble and I'll use it as a net frame over our fruit bushes.

Flimsy
Bought to replace an old 4 x 2m polytunnel. The old frame (25mm tubing) was still in good condition, but could not risk a replacement cover not fitting the old frame. Complete new polytunnel with frame only approx £20 more than replacement cover only, seems crazy and wasteful. Delivered a day late by Hermes. Cardboard package appeared to have suffered some damage and appeared to have been re-taped up in places, possibly a returned item? Opened the package and no nuts and bolts included, very frustrating! Tube is quite flimsy, 19mm tubing but quite thin walled, so had to take care handling and joining it together. One tube was slightly bent in the package, but didn't cause a problem. Tried the new cover on the old frame and it did not fit correctly, too tight, so dismantled the old frame and erected the new one using the nuts and bolts from the old frame. Once erected cut off the excess bolt lengths (from 25mm tubing) with an angle grinder. Unlike the old frame, which had a complete tubing rectangle at ground level to keep the tunnel the correct shape, the new frame only has horizontal braces on the sides at approx 18 and 110cm from ground level and at the apex of the roof curve. This means the legs can be moved inwards or outwards from the centre line and care has to be taken to set the verticals in the correct positions. Fitted the new cover to the new frame without problems, but it definitely felt thinner and flimsier than the old cover, but I do not have any way of measuring that without cutting square metres of old and new covers to weigh. As some other reviews have mentioned this is not a robust polytunnel and I do not expect it to last much longer than 2 years. Only erected it yesterday, and after some rain over night checked it out and quite a few areas where run has come into the polytunnel. I suspect due to poor seam manufacture. Not impressed, but it was one of the few polytunnels currently available which has a zipped door at both ends, which we wanted.

Excellent alternative to glass greenhouse
Bought this for our daughters allotment way back in February and have only just had chance to put it together. What a brilliant poly tunnel, so large and well made, it took two of us less than 2 hours to erect but you do need at least two people to hold bits and pieces whilst the other secures the screws etc. The instructions are ok but could do with numbering the sequence of each stage as we did not realise the curved roof structures needed to be fixed to the side poles really at the same time. Don't be tempted to keep screwing and un screwing the bolds as the heads do start to wear so the alan key then slips but if you don't overtighten as it says then its fine. The reinfororced plastic cover seems really strong and fitted the metal cage really well. The heat inside once erected was amazing so the vents are really useful to have. The zips at both ends are strong and go the full length on the door ends. Delivery was really quick and the product was packaged well with no damage. I know we haven't had any high winds yet but we have sunk the bottom part of the tunnel into the ground and weighted it down just in case. It does warn you to take obvious precautions when windy but again the structure seems strong and the cover very resilient so would on that basis recommend this as its a much cheaper option and easier to erect than a glass greenhouse.

good value
Needed an urgent covered chicken run (avian flu outbreak). This arrived promptly and was remarkably easy to assemble with an electric screwdriver (there are LOTS of bolts). We pegged the skirt down with some timber and tent pegs and it has proved adequately robust in wind and rain. Chickens seem happy.

Fragile and porous
UPDATE: It lasted one season. As I expected, the frame broke in two places during strong wind. My added braces and ground moorings were not enough to protect the frame which snapped in two places before the whole thing collapsed. This in a small, fully enclosed garden which is protected by 8 foot walls and dense 9 foot hedging. Don't waste your money.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This really is useless. Without the added bracing I added on install it would have collapsed in the first gale. Suggested moorings which rely upon securing the cover to hold it down are completely inadequate. I used several deep pegs for the frame in addition to soil and bricks around the apron: even then the whole thing became loose in a strong wind. The seams are completely porous and rain pours in along their entire length. The webbing straps provided to secure the rolled up doors, whilst apparantly strong, have all broken after 12 weeks of use. The light reduction is far more significant than I had expected - my meter indicates a reduction greater than 20%! This will not last a second season. All in all a waste of money.

Quality Control must have gone on holiday
It's OK. It would have been good except for one of the tubes (a No. 5 if you really want to know) had its bolt holes at either end drilled at different angles. That made for extreme difficulty in erecting the thing and a lot of hot and rather blue air.I haven't put the cover on it yet, but a cursory inspection makes it appear OK.All in all, at that price, it's worthwhile - but be prepared to do a bit of work.
