It's ok for light work. The twist to open close bit fell off while in use. I managed to wrestle it back on but failed again .. used it on hammer action and it couldn't handle it. Got the job I needed done so can't complain.

I bought this to replace my SDS keyed drill bit as I lost the chuck for it! This item is better in every way compared to the original that came with the drill. It’s hard to believe that a slight tighten by hand is all that’s needed to keep the drill bit in position. Especially given that the bit is so light to begin with. So far it’s sustained about ten uses in hammer function and shows no signs of wear. Overall very pleased with this.

I replaced the broken chuck on my Makita battery drill with this a few months ago. Has been working away fine ever since. The only niggle I have is that when I grasp the chuck while it's spinning to tighten or loosen a bit it gets uncomfortably hot instantly (my hand). This has never happened with any other battery drills I've used before. It's a bit odd but not a deal breaker as it was so cheap!

I bought this chuck to replace the damaged one on my ryobi drill . Still trying to remove the chuck from the drill . So I tried it on my old black and decker and that fits a treat
