Maximus Body: A Men's Health Book

As a Fitness Professional, I Recommend It
I was skeptical at first; this guy re-named himself Bobby Maximus and prides himself on “hard workouts.” Must be another re-branded CrossFit-type methodology. I still gave it a shot. I’d say it might have changed my life.I’m a bit of an over-thinker. I plan my training for the entire year, and I’ve tracked my workouts since 2009. I’ve dropped like $50,000 on fitness education over the years mostly because I enjoy it. I can train people to be awesome, but I can’t train myself. Mostly because I’ve forgotten how to train hard. The part that impacted me the most in this book was the mindset portion. I always tend to neglect this, opting to insist on physiological adaptations to training to essentially make mental toughness unnecessary. This, of course, is the wrong answer.Small things, positive thinking, self-confidence, can apparently be trained, just like with anything else. This book has allowed me to pursue that. There’s also a long list of workout ideas you can do, so you can train yourself (or others if you’re a professional).
