May not work with all mounts
This adapter seems well-designed and sturdy, but buyers should be aware that it may not work for you, depending on the strength of the mount you're using. The issue in my case is the swivel joint that allows front-to-back tilt. Since the weight of the monitor is shifted forward and upward by the adapter, it creates too much torque for my stand to handle, and the monitor flops forward. In fact, it would crash down on its face if not supported. Other mounts may have the ability to adjust the tension on this joint, but mine does not, so I won't be able to use it.

The unit I received is black, not silver like in the picture. Not something I care about. I was concerned that the mount may be at an awkward angle given the monitor construction, but this is not an issue.@seller Hoping to buy a second one if possible!
