Yes it probably would. Product is very strong. My dog is 70 lbs. and has no use of all 4 legs and I am able to lift her with this harness.

It will work to lift a dog. I have a dog right now that cannot use his legs. I have to lift him everyday to go to the bathroom. He weighs 60lbs and it holds him fine.
