Lund 99085 Genesis Seal & Peel Truck Bed Tonneau Cover for 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma | Fits 6' Bed

I've had two of theses covers, one for a 2002 Tacoma and now on my 2011 Tacoma. This cover is easy to snap into place in any weather, I had an OEM Toyota cover on the 2002 and it was a nightmare to install the vinyl part unless it was above 80 degrees, but this one goes on just as easy even with temps in the 30's. The mounting clamps attach easily to the Toyota rail track system and are low profile so they won't get in the way of cargo when the cover is off. The cross bars are strong, the cover had been through an automatic car wash dozens of times and has held up to 22" of heavy snow without a problem. Recently I damaged the rear bar trying to remove it ( probably more my fault) so I called Lund customer service to fine out if I could buy a replacement, the friendly woman on the phone explained that they don't sell direct, but if the piece broke it would be covered under the lifetime warrantee and they would send one free of charge. After emailing a copy of the invoice ( thankfully you can download order histories from Amazon) to Lund, three days later the part showed up on my doorstep just as promised!

First of all, this product took me longer than 20 to 30 minutes to install, which is fine, but attaching the first piece to the L-bar behind the back window gave me the biggest issue. You need to install 2-bolts (which never came with my order, which I had to purchase separately at a hardware store) to the L-bar, which took me about an hour to do because it has to be lined up just right. After that, setup was pretty easy. The first time I put the cover on, it took me a while to get the hang of it, but after doing it a few times and understanding how it works, it only takes a few minutes. Overall, I am satisfied with this cover. The bed of my truck stays dry when it rains, but the real test will be during the winter months. Oh yeah, the $50.00 mail in rebate was a nice addition too!

This is a nice cover for the price. It keeps everything under it out of the elements. It's easy to peel and seal. When ordering this cover I wasn't sure it was going to fit because the dimension were way off. After doing the research and Amazon saying it would fit I figured the dimension were probably for shipping. This cover takes longer than the 20 to 30 mins that they say. It all depends on how quickly you can thread the 2 bolts on the first piece because you are working with a small hole and a flat piece behind the L bar and you have to get it lined up just right you can't hold the piece behind the L bar to thread the bolt. Have patience and you will get it. This cover works with the factory tracks installed on the bed. Overall great product.

I picked this up last fall. It was very easy to install and easy to seal. Like anything, you get better at it after a few times and it now takes about 10 seconds to take it off and about 30 seconds to put back on, maybe a full minute in cold weather. I live in northern Michigan and have taken it off and put it on in temps as low as the single digits. I don't know what the seal is made of but it doesn't get too stiff in the cold. My hands do, but the seal doesn't.My only complaints are minor; the rear support that runs along the top of the tailgate is not simple to remove so you have to lift things up and over if they don't fit under it and its a bit hard to roll up because of the seals. I usually just flip it up over the cab but when I need to roll and tie it back I like to have somebody help roll it.

I don't use my pickup as a truck very often so in order to keep the box clean of snow, rain and debris I needed a cover to help keep it clean. The Lund 99085 was the right price and it does a great job keeping the box clean.It was easy to install by my self. One of the molded plastic side connectors was broken when I took the cover out of the box soI called the company and they sent me four new ones. It fits perfectly and looks great. I'm anxious to see if it truly improves my gas mileage.

good product, relatively simple to install. Not weather-tight at gate, but that's ok for me. I would recommend it.

I was sent a couch instead of the tonneau cover on two separate occasions. To be frank it inconvenienced me greatly as I was depending on receiving the cover for a scheduled trip. I would think that after the first mistake you would have been very diligent to be sure that the same mistake wasn't repeated, yet incredibly it was.I am very disappointed.Thank you for your interest.Brian Milgate Sr.
