Geneva Home Fashion Bradshaw Velvet Ombre Comforter Set, Queen, Grey

First of all this exceeded my expectations as far as the quality! This looks amazing on my daughter's bed. The velvet side is not very soft... but it looks amazing. The other side (the side you actually feel on your body when under the blanket) is very soft, not velvet at all. It is an actual comforter and it feels very cozy and lightweight but you can quickly become too warm if you are using another blanket with this or heavy sheets. My daughter kicks the sheets off every night but pulls the blanket up to use instead because it feels so nice and offers the perfect amount of warmth.

It’s really pretty but the quality is not what I wanted

Light weight, but keeps you very warm. Very soft and comfortable. Adds a simple elegance to any bedroom. Love it. I highly recommend it

This is definitely not what I expected. The picture of the bedding on the package insert is a nice color of pink. This is so pale it's barely pink and there is a huge blue stripe down the middle and the pillowcases are mostly the blue. This reminds me of 1980's bedding. I love 80's music, but don't want 80's bedding in my historical home where I am making a very feminine PINK room. I don't call this velvet either. It's weird and probably the ugliest bedding I've seen in awhile. You must enhance the photos or something. This would be K-Mart 1982.

Three stars because the colors are pretty but had small stain on pillow sham and as you see, the shams are two different colors.... It's is more multicolor than online picture shows. I can't return it because my 10 year old thinks it's amazing. I'd be happier if the shams matched...

The colors aren’t the same as what they’re advertised for. A bit upset because I’ve been eyeing this piece for a while and instead of the gray ombré tones there’s a lot of blue hues. Debating sending it back. Otherwise, may need to change the color scheme of my room.

Perfect for the cold winters in the North East. Nice, warm and toasty
