I've already had to buy a second set... because we play so much and so hard that we wore out the first set.
This game is amazingly fun, and can be learned in two minutes flat. (one sentence and a quick demonstration with random cards)It is appropriate for almost any age (they say 8 and up, but I know I would have loved this when I was 5) and is played daily (and emphatically) in the lunchroom of the Law firm I work for. Every day there are at least three people playing, and while it says 2-5 players, the only problem we've had expanding the game up to 8 people, is making sure the the people with the shortest arms are closest to the play/discard pile.It says nothing about this in the rules, but we pretty much instinctively started calling out the name of what symbol we were matching, which has occasionally led to people thinking that we were cussing if they hadn't seen us play before (Ship and Bucket especially can lead to odd looks if misheard)Our current group of 9 regular players (usually about 5 a day, because at least a couple people have to work through lunch) ranges in age from 22-40, and includes attorneys, most of the accounting department, paralegals, and clerks. We get so competitive playing, and racing each other to be able to get our cards down fastest, that I've had to buy a second set of cards, because the first set has had cards get bent, torn, and once even knocked across the room and into the sink.We have a fairly extensive game library (25 different games/variants) that we keep in the accounting office, because we're all gamers, ranging in mood and complication from Monty Python Fluxx, through 7 Wonders, and up to Archipelago and Betrayal at House on the Hill, which we used to rotate through regularly, but ever since I picked this up, we've gotten spoiled and start getting impatient whenever we try to play a different game and have to TAKE TURNS.This is also the only game in the entire library where people walking through the kitchen get sucked in, and eventually let us deal them in the next round. (^ˬ^)

Fun Fast and Keeps All Players Involved at all times
This is basically a matching game on speed. Players need to match cards in the discard pile(s) until a player has no more cards. It is very simple. All play takes place at the same time so there is never a player waiting for their turn. This particular deck has clear pictures that help in the matching. The white background on the cards make it fine to play in lower light. Though I am not a fan of matching card games normally, I did find this one to be fast enough to be fun. It is also quick game that can be played between other longer games. It will definitely wake up players as you need to announce your matched card. All in all a simple yet fun game that will keep players involved and active for about 5 minutes or less per round.

Love it! Buying one for everyone on my Christmas list. First thing 7 yr old grandson says when he walks in the door, "can we play the card game?" But more importantly, the 50 something hardasss grandpa (who abhors card games) helps to clear dinner off the table so we can break out the cards. Super easy to learn, fast and fun to play. Especially funny when you call out the items on your card as you play them.I started by ordering one set for myself and one as a Christmas gift for my niece. By player request I ordered another two sets as gifts. If you play this game, you will want it!

Fun Game
I bought this to play with my 7-year old. We both learned quickly. I imagine this game is even more fun with more players but can be played with just 2 people. It's a very fast paced game.

Whimsical cards. A fun but easy game.
Great new game like ? Old maid. Cannot go wrong with ME designed cards. They are just so special. I bought one set for my young great grand daughters and loved them so much I bought a second set for who knows who. Easy and fun for young children to learn. Good for family playing together.

Charming, colourful, whimsical, fun
I bought this game simply because of the attractive art by Mary Englebreit. This version of Loonacy is a delight. Loonacy is a simple picture matching game (not that easy cos the pictures are pretty detailed!), and, despite my usual reluctance to play 'party' games, I love it. I really do love it. There's a ton of cards (must be 100), quality OK - and the backs are pretty as well as the faces. Rules are simple and set up is a doddle (I do make sure I shuffle well though). We play exclusively 2 player - and it's fast and fun. We always get the giggles & have a laugh. It's a go-to quick relaxer game. No thinking needed. So it does what it was designed to do - relax us and make us have fun. The instructions say you can play other games with the cards (variants of games like Go Fish & Rummy) but I've not tried that yet. There's a page on this game with the rules & those variants on Looney Lab's website. All in all very happy with our purchase. Go for it!
