The artistic value of this didge is worth a 5 rating alone. Beautiful piece of craftsmanship worthy of display. I can’t impress enough how amazing this looks and feels. And for $99? Get outta here! Now I did think I was purchasing a blue one as advertised, but my son whom I bought it for likes the warm southwestern colors of the one sent to us so no complaints here. The sound this didge makes is soothing. One potential drawback is the lower volume produced by this snake, but it also allows my son to play it without disturbing everyone else. So for us it’s a draw. I could have given this a 4 for the volume lost in the curvature, but the exceptional craftsmanship of this didge cannot be understated. Solid 5 stars!

The lightweight and compact shape of the didge makes it excellent for travel. The opening of the didge is narrow so that anyone can play it with ease-- no beeswax required! Not to mention it makes a phenomenal decoration when you aren't playing it. The sound quality is actually very crisp, and at the prices they go for I can't recommend this enough to interested players (especially beginners)! I think the only drawback is that the wood seems a bit fragile, so I worry that if I were to drop it, that would be the end. Not gonna test that, though!

nice didgeridoo, well made but it is made up of two pieces of wood glued together, not a single piece of wood, BUT it sounds great, nice mellow tone, beautifully portable, mellow notes... and mine has a lovely paint job.

Wonderful quality of sound in packed in this portable didgeridoo. Very similar sounds to traditional versions and I was expecting less of an audible punch with this version but it has surpassed my expectations. No odor to speak of and my kids love playing it as I mentioned in the video review.

Half of the photos were taken the day of arrival, other half a few days after. On the Jive Store's didge arrival, I was excited to play it. Have wanted a more portable design to carry on the trike and in the car, as my real didgeridoos are 6 to 14 feet in length. On first breath it was like breathing into a potato sack. Then I saw dust shoot out below the mouthpiece. Upon inspection of this "Professional Sound/Quality" instrument had seen the mouthpiece had broken off in crafting and was poorly epoxied back on. Excuse me, professional instruments should be in near immaculate condition, not broken and glued back together. Looked at the crack, looked inside. Saw light coming through the holes of the bad repair. While that could be fixed, this is not what I paid for. Used some painter's tape to cover the holes that were well over an inch in the broken fissure. Gave it another blow for a drone, still was losing lots of air. Looked at the seams. One bend had a very long fault line. At this point it was going back. Too many corners were cut for production. Placed more painter's tape over that broken seam, and still had a small air leak somewhere. I gave up at this point, but... it was playable. Would of cost too much to get it properly repaired. Contacted the vendor, they said to send it back. Most vendors would offer a replacement. On a warmer day I so took a few videos of this 'taped up' didgeridoo to show that yes, these can easily be played one-handed. Did have to play it to the side as the mouthpiece did not fit well. That can be shaped to the player easily. Some use bees wax, I prefer wooden mouthpiece. To the vendor: When these are carved, they should be well sanded and sealed from the inside first. Let it cure. Then epoxy them together, and bound with clamps throughout the instrument, and use quality epoxy, not that brown stuff. You want the instrument to look attractive to be professional. Next, shape the seams so they become the height of the wood. Sand the entire instrument. Seal it. Let it cure. Repeat the sanding process, seal it again. Test for air leaks. Place a tight seal on the bell end, blow inside. No air should escape. Then go ahead and paint it. I found dust in between the layers. Painting should not be done in the same room as the wood working. When done, seal that well. Found small potholes on the exterior. Looking inside the mouthpiece it looked like white glue webs inside. The bell end had brown epoxy conspicuously laying there. Looked grungy. There is no 'professional quality' in the instrument I received, or I would of gladly left a far better review. Not recommended to anyone past wall decoration, or fire starter.

Not only is it a didgeridoo, but it also plays like an elephants trunk. No joke, the vocalization on this is incredible. It's the most fun I've ever had playing on a didgeridoo, so much versatility in every way.

Not much more to say than it's sounds unlike any didgeridoo I've heard and not in a good way. The aperture is too small to properly vibrate your lips and the sound barely resonates... It's just so thin sounding. I would recommend avoiding it unless you are using it as a decoration. It looks nice but that's the only nice thing I can think to say... I will be returning mine.

The instrument itself is nice and plays well. It arrived a bit late but that didn't bother me. What bothered me was what I received. I got my spiral didgeridoo but there was no pattern or design on it, after comparing proces with an undecorated one I essentially spent an extra $15 for nothing.
