Apache Unisex-Adult AP302SM Safety Shoes Black 3 UK Wide

I have severe foot pain at work (plantar fasciitis?) and bought these as I need something that's wide fitting and comfortable for long periods on my feet as a construction site labourer. Unfortunately, these don't fit the bill. While they're wider than a standard fit, they're not quite a true 2E as the sides of my feet noticeably rub the sides of the shoes. This isn't an issue in other 2E boots. They also become very hot, damp/sweaty, and uncomfortable after only a few hours on my feet and are virtually unwearable by the second day. The toe box is generally roomy, which is a huge plus over the handful of other safety boots I've worn recently that usually pinch and overlap my toes even in a "wide fit", but the steel midsoles are really noticeable as I walk around in these shoes and are probably the worst offender in my growing collection of PPE. My feet almost try to cradle them as I move around and this only adds to the extreme discomfort I'm in.They seem well made and will probably be reassigned to motorbike shoes, but I won't be wearing them again as work shoes. It's a shame since the reviews and comments here really hyped up these shoes as a very comfortable option. Not for me I guess.

I ordered these in July 2019 for my husband to wear at work. Every time he wears them he said one hurts his foot.He has several pairs he wears on different days. It was just after Christmas after having time off and wearing them again and they are still pinching his foot he decided to have a look inside. He found that one is a size 8 and the other is a 9 which is the size we ordered. I have ordered him another pair, this time I made him check both for the size

I have used this type of safety shoe for years but they have changed the sole for a harder material. The old soles had a lot more give in them for all-day comfort and were anti slip, unlike my new shoes. This may well be the last pair of these I buy. Shame because they are a good looking safety shoe.

I have wide feet and these really had room. I was impressed. Appeared well made and I saw no signs of wear for the time I did wear them. Grip seemed to be good. Doing long shifts I have just found them a bit too heavy which made my ankles ache more than usual so I've left them to one side. I haven't had a pair of safety shoes before so I don't know if they are heavier or lighter than others. I wish I could have coped with them as it would have saved my toes from umpteen bruises. They may have been ok if I didn't work long shifts. They were comfortable though and for someone who struggles to find shoes wide enough it was a refreshing change to put these straight on without the usual "I wonder how long I can tolerate the pain of crushed feet?"

Nice looking shoes but I was surprised at them being as heavy as they are, not that im complaining, sometimes I can get into size 7 sometimes size 8 so I decided to go for size 8,,,,, thankgoodness ,,, they fit me perfectly with a pair of thickish socks, I was expecting them to be really wide but no they are a comfortable can be worn all day dont pinch the sides of your feet fit,, ,sturdy, not cheap and ugly looking boots, in fact pretty stylish as far as safety boot/shoes go,,steel toe capped too!!!!,,,,, I have been wearing them a month now and have now discovered if the floors are being mopped and I walk over them these shoes are treacherous, ,, ,very slippery, at first I thought it was a one off but no unfortunately not so I have to be very careful, , not great for safety shoes

After 6 months ..12 hours a day shifts in a warehouse..my aching feet needed some tlc.I found these work trainers just the job.my feet continually ached edge to edge across my foot.These are just the ticket. The extra width has solved everything.I also ordered again but in a larger size as my feet swell at times due to my diabetes,so I have the spare pair to fall back on..I tried expensive insoles but they were not needed.10/10 and a gold star....Thank you Amazon x

They're good quality as there unisex a bit bigger than my normal size so bought insoles memory foam ones as the soles are hard took ages to wear in I use at work for standing a 12 hr shift feet start to get sore but now ok they are heavy to wear as well but need it in my job but two different kinds of shoes to try this was the better
