I would have given it 5 stars, but there is only one thing that I would change about this product. The blue LED light is too bright in a bedroom at night. In a lit room it wouldn't be an issue, but at night when you are trying to sleep it's a bit too harsh. Easy fix, I put a small piece of black electrical tape (my unit is black) over the light and you can't even see the tape. You can still see the blue LED to let you know it's charging but it's muted so that it's not distracting. That is the only downside I've experienced over weeks of use. It's charges fast and it's much better than fumbling around for your cable charger in the dark. It's so easy. Unlike other reviewers I have had no problem with it connecting to my iPhone 8 even when in a case. It sounds so petty but to not have to plug it in is a game changer. I love it.

I have an iPhone 8. This charging pad is slightly convex (curved at the top). It's not flat. That means the phone is balanced on top with only one point in contact with the surface. The surface material feels like it would be kind of anti-slip, however, with the iPhone against it, unless it is perfectly balanced, it slowly spins, slides, and walks off of the pad. However, the sliding occurs very slowly. So you are likely to think the phone is settled, on the pad and charging, and it may be minutes before it slides off the pad and stops charging. So rather annoying if you put it on the nightstand next to your bed, think its charging, then wake up to find it hasn't been charging all night.It does work ok if I put my phone in an otter box case.Would recommend instead of this product a charging cradle that holds the phone in the right position, or a pad that has a truly flat surface that the phone won't be inclined to slide off of.

So annoying -- it should say in the TITLE "REQUIRES POWER SUPPLY" ANNOYING.

Charger is rounded so phone constantly roles off. To add insult to injury the item cannot be returned. It was an Amazon choice product, thought i could trust this endorsement.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus and when I put it on the charger the phone just moves right off of it. I don’t believe this is compatible with iPhones. Even when I tried to align it right in the center you can see the phone moving and soon after it is not charging and it eventually ends up not on the pad at all. With no return policy I am now out of the cost of this horrible purchase!

Why Amazon would recommend this, I have no idea. I accidentally ordered too many for the family and see that they are not returnable. I was trusting the fact that Amazon had recommended the device. Also, it really doesn't work very well most of the time or not at all. Last, when you purchase it, there is no mention of not being returnable.

This arrived sooner than expected. Very nice and simple to get going with. Tends to get my phone a little heated, but charges as expected.

The ratings for this charger were better when I ordered it. Since then the rating has gone down, probably because people received non-working units. I plugged it in and it doesn't charge. The LED lights up on the charger, but my iPhone XS doesn't charge.
