I really like this heat gun. I only used it once but it works well so far. This is the first one I've had so I can't say how it would compare to others but so far it seems to have a lot of good points. First, although it's bigger than I would have thought, it's fairly light which is good if you will be holding it for long periods of time. Second, it has the ability to set the temp at lot of different settings due to the dial on the back. Third, It has a very heavy duty cord and it's long enough to be used without an extension cord in most cases. Forth, it has a bunch of tips that can be used for various uses. Fifth, it comes with a flat blade tool and some kind of screw driver which I haven't figured out what it's for yet. Sixth, it has a safety temperature sensor that will shut it down in case of overheating. Seventh, the instructions are excellent, written in clear English.I believe this tool will come in quite handy for a lot of different uses, including changing out screens on my iPad which is what I bought it for, as well as some body work like pulling dents out on a my car. The instructions give plenty of ideas on uses for it. I hope this review is helpful, and I don't know if there are any better deals out there, but I don't think you will be disappointed with this heat gun if you decide to buy it. I paid full price so this review is honest and not due to receiving a free product of any kind, just an FYI.

It includes a bunch of accessories, most I won’t use though. One afterthought is I wish it did have a stand as an accessory so that I could use two hands instead of using one to pull the trigger on this. Its comfortable to use and lightweight which allows long periods of use though. Its not as loud as I thought it would be so no worries there. Temperature on it is adjustable depending on your application need. Its recommended to start low and increase if needed. You will need an extension cord to use this for safety reasons as the cord is very short. The tool gets the job done, and will fit me as a homeowner and its occasional use perfectly and would recommend. I am not sure if I would recommend for more than that as it doesn’t include a case, and while it gets hot - max heat could be hotter.

The media could not be loaded.  Clean design, lightweight and stout. I particularly liked the power cord, very strong.The heat gun performed perfectly. I played with the temperature adjustment settings and clocked it with my digital thermometer. It was as advertised.That being said, THE ATTACHMENTS ARE A MUST. The attachments that this heat gun comes with are perfect for use with my wood burning marker. I use my Yome heat gun with my Scorch Marker to create custom wood burned coasters. With the fine point adapter for the heat gun i'm able to apply heat with precision. This is really important. I attached a video of everything in action. As you can see, it heated up quick and provided consistent, very hot heat.If you are looking for good value for your money, i suggest this heat gun. Very simple and easy to use. the attachments are great.

Im not a professional or anythijg, but for the few instances where i needed a bit or regulated heat, this guy worked good. I bought a black and decker at wally world, but when i saw this for three bucks more and it came with nozzles and tools, i return the other one and got this. It gets hot. Real hot. And for the price, i cant beat it for the few time a year i need some rapid heat. So far it seems good. It feels a bit cheap but thats mostly because it is. But it works.

I don't know how I went so long without one of these. It has so many uses. This one heats up well, heat control not very linear, goes from medium heat to really HOT with small turn of knob but you'll get a feel for it after couple of uses.The way it stands up on back end is nice, just watch out and don't brush you arm on tip after use, it stays hot for quite a while after use. Would be nice to have "fan on/heat off" setting to cool it down when finished with job.Not sure what "Adhesion" is supposed to mean in review check boxes, but you have to click something in it to complete review. (What's this mean Amazon?)

I’m very disappointed. This didn’t work correctly the first time I tried to use it. It made horrific noises, then finally started to warm up some, but not like it should have. I managed to use it for the short time I needed it even though it never really got hot. The second time I tried to use it (a few days later), it made the noises again, then the motor seized up and it started smoking. It was a complete waste of money. Unfortunately, since I didn’t try it soon enough, it’s too late to return it. I tried to contact the seller before leaving a negative review, but was unable to find any contact information. The other reviews here are very good, and maybe I just received a bad one, but there’s no way of knowing. I’m not about to spend more money on another one to find out. So...after my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this product. But, if you look at the other reviews and take a chance on this like I did, make absolutely certain you try it before the return window expires!!
