Sounds great, obviously won't hit like a full size 12, but it's not bad at all for a shallow 12. Makes good full sound in a small car. If you're short on space it is a perfect option, definitely not underwhelming. Easy to remove if you need more room all connections are on a single plug so you don't have to remove the fuse or anything. Rockford Fosgate never dissapoints.

Put this on my 22' pontoon and the difference is night and day. It is PERFECT for music. The sealed design and built in crossover lets you dial it in to give the perfect punch for music without being boomy or obnoxious. Super punchy, very tight, very responsive bass. Can feel it in the water when swimming! No distortion even at high volumes, no rattles, just pure tight deep bass. And it is super compact and a very quick/easy install, all for under $200! I can confirm the auto on/off function works great as well. This was a big time saver as I just mounted the sub in my 12v battery compartment, connected power and then ran line out from head unit. It comes on automatically when radio turned on, shuts off promptly when signal goes away to avoid phantom power draw. No need to run a remote turn on switch. Awesome!

This worked great for the tight space in the back of my Geo tracker. No need for a separate amplifier install and gave me the added bass my factory system was missing.

just put this in the back of my 14' jetta sel The knob is the best thing ever most dont come with one ( the only downside is having to remember to turn it off before leaving the car but hey with the feedback from no audio its pretty obvious if its still on ) Got a few quotes from audio shops to buy and install and they were all charging 700-900 plus parts! For any audio heads buy the sub online after install ( would have done it myself except im more comfortable working on older cars haha) I only paid 440 total an absolute steal of a deal for such amazing bass With my built in fender audio the bass is just next level Not to mention its size! When I say this thing is small but mighty I mean it its thinner than my roadside kit the best part? I have pretty much my entire trunk to use still pack the sub and the rsk right up against the seats and it fits just right in For anyone looking to get a cheap but great system this is the one for you hell it even beats out most of my friends 1k-3k audio systems

Anyone that knows the name already knows that thing hits. I was going for balanced sound in my truck. I don't want to rattle the neighbors windows, and I'm not looking for the neighborhood to know when I'm coming down the street. But it sure rattles the rear view mirror. Just small enough to fit under the back seat in my crew cab. If you see the pictures in other reviews you will see it sticks out about an inch. After installing I kept the gain way down to break it in, once I did the bass is incredible. Do yourself a favor, get a 4 gage install kit. Fosgate hits harder with more power to it. What else can I tell you. Ordered it had it the next day. The box has a great finish. The bass is clean. I almost expected it to be sort of muddy, since it's not ported but I should have known better. The boys in tempe know what they are doing. I like hard rock it's snappy enough to hit hard with rock. It also hits with rap, Biggie, Tupac and west side connection will really move it. No matter your taste in music it will make you smile ear to ear. Just hit buy now and fed ex will deliver tomorrow and you will be Very Happy.

This is the perfect size to fit snugly behind the rear seat of my 2021 Ram 2500 Mega cab. The install was easy enough and the speaker connections were made simple. This however is more of a base module than a sub. I have a JL…8” powered my a mono block amp and it gets quite a bit lower. This does fill in the bottom end and sounds clean. I prefer the non-ported version in my truck for a tighter base. The knob installs nicely and works well. I left all controls on the box at their lowest level and it’s nowhere near 50Hz. Gain down low is fine and the auto turn on is fantastic. All in all it’s very nice and great for the money. Someone on here summed it up perfectly by saying you won’t win competitions with it but it will enhance a stock stereo.

Holy boom!! 🔊💥 🤯 I replaced a 10inch compact sub with this 12 in my f150 supercrew. I strapped the sub vertically to the 20% rear seat on the passenger side so I lose zero floor space in the cab of the truck. The sub box is just a tad narrower than the seat itself so it’s a perfect fit floating vertical strapped against the folded-up seat. Very powerful. I love it and my wife is envious of the audio in my F150 despite her Benz having 15+ speakers 😁 Make sure you use a big fat Copper power wire running from the battery. I used 2 gauge OFC. Also make sure your ground cable is the same diameter and keep it short. P.s. the subwoofer’s power and ground inputs only accept max diameter of 4ga wire and I was using 2ga so that sucked
