Game changer for metal cutting
I mounted this on an old chop saw (miter saw), and it works wonders for cutting through metal. I've used it to cut through mild and stainless steel, up to 1/4 inch thick, and 6061 aluminum. I was surprised at how easily. Cutting through that 1/4 inch steel felt about the same as cutting through a pine 2x4. Quick and easy, with very little downward pressure on the handle during the cut. And the cuts are clean and smooth. My chop saw spins at 5000 RPM, and this diablo blade is rated at 5800, so it has been a good combination with no problems. Exceeding the max of 5800 may very well cause problems such as dulling the blade, so keep that in mind if your saw spins faster, and many do.While researching this blade, one reviewer commented that it is good for cutting through metal when the entire blade width is in contact with material. However, it is not good for shaving material off the end of a piece, as is commonly done to make a piece of wood just a little shorter. I can confirm that it's not good for this when cutting steel, as it creates a lot of vibration, and I was concerned that even a tightly retained piece could be sent flying. But for cuts down the middle of a metal piece, it's great.Since I'm too lazy to switch it out for a wood blade to make the occasional wood cut. I can confirm that it's a perfectly adequate wood saw. Not the best for making furniture grade cuts, but just take your time going through wood, and you get a clean enough edge for your rough cuts.

Very clean cuts, super durable.
How cow this thing is a beast. Cuts through quarter inch steel and it's cool to the touch, that's no exaggeration. Very impressive.I didn't hold the plate down well enough because it was a little bit cupped from welding. Got a big kickback(my fault) and it didn't even break a tooth off. I'm extremely impressed. I also cut through welds with it, it doesn't even leave a burr. It's almost a mirror finish. Totally nuts.

Great blade to your collection
This blade was well worth it. I bought this for my mom’s bf who was helping me cut hurricane shutters to fit my windows. This blade didn’t spit crazy sparks or sound crazy . We got it in October and we have used it a bunch on other projects and the blade is still sharp and cuts smooth.

Great quality and function
Great metal cutting blade for the price. used on steel 2" and 4" square tubing for construction. You need more than one for 60 or more cuts of this tubing I used.. still a great value for the price..

This thing CUTS!
I like fabricating random stuff out of metal, and bought this because I was sick of the messy cuts abrasive saws and grinders make. I didn't expect much, but this blade is great. It cuts through 1/8" steel cleanly and doesn't wander the way abrasive wheels do. It saves a lot of time cleaning up and grinding the cuts before welding. I can't speak to how long it will last, but the amount of time it saved me building a picnic table frame was worth the purchase price alone.

Doesn't last as long as I would have hoped.
Cutting aluminum and stainless steel sheet with a circular saw may seem crazy but it works great. I have had the aluminum specific blade for a couple years and it is awesome for ripping aluminum sheet for boat projects. The Stainless Steel blade works "good" but not great. I noticed a big negative change in cutting performance over a relatively short period of time (only a few cuts) which means that cutting stainless material with a circular saw is going to get fairly expensive using this method. It still beats using a band saw as the cut can be made VERY straight on large pieces of material. It's a "good" blade but I don't think it's great for the $$ paid.

Cuts through stailess steel and aluminum well!
I bought this because I needed a more accurate and clean cut. Luckily my worx miter saw takes 7.25 blades. It's not the strongest saw because it is battery powered but it still managed to get the job done. I used oil and cut really slow but the results are perfect! It will still need some cleanup after the cut but the cut itself is flawless.

Eassy to install, they work great.
I could not believe how easily the blade cut through the steel.
