This low voltage lighting set is very nice and a great value. We paid thousands of dollars to have low voltage lighting installed in our last 2 houses, and we thought we would try it ourselves to save some money at this house. I was originally surprised by how small and heavy the box was when it arrived. It was packed compactly with all 10 lights and the transformer. The lights are small but quite powerful, which I really like since they are unobtrusive in the landscaping. They are made from aluminum so they won’t rust and are they are nicely weighted. The wire that is needed to connect them to the transformer is not included so you can purchase the length you need for your landscape project. I also purchased BVS-2 Snap Lock connectors since they are waterproof and easy to use when connecting the individual lights to the wiring. There isn’t a lot of documentation included for how to install the lights, but the company sent me a nice email after I purchased them with additional information. They also suggested looking on YouTube for additional instructions if needed. The transformer that is included with this set just has an on/off switch, so I also purchased a WiOn outdoor smart plug so I can control when they turn on and off with a timer from my phone. We are very happy with this lighting set. It’s doing a very nice job of accenting the landscaping in the front of our house. We would purchase these again.

The installation was easy, the lights were bright and look awesome. My neighbors texted and said how beautiful it made our house look. I have ordered another 6 to place in some trees to light up a circle drive. Great product. I did buy more cable so measure how much you need to make sure you have enough. I purchased the water proof wire nuts and the worked very well. I am very pleased with the price, the lights and the results.

The lights themselves are amazing once installed. The low voltage transformer it came with is a joke; why you would not make waterproof is beyond me as these are intended for an outdoor installation. Also, they make clips that make the installation super easy. I ran 12 lights off of two main cables in about 1 hour (excluding burying the cord) and it was my first time doing it. The included electrical tape is pretty low quality, but I used it to secure the exposed ends of the cable regardless. So I guess in that regard, it would be much more cost effective to buy the lights themselves and the above items separately instead of this kit. The lights are a warm white and are not overwhelmingly bright which works great for my garden as I have neighbors on both sides. They are pretty bright though, I would feel a bit uncomfortable using them without having a fence to block most of the light (as they would illuminate the exterior of my neighbor's houses). They seem to be high quality and have easily withstood a hail storm and some torrential downpours.

Seriously... nothing ever works out as well as you hope it well... except this time! These lights are honestly amazing, especially when you consider the price for what you're getting. If the transformer was waterproof, this would be a 10/10, but if you're running power from inside your garage/house, even that won't matter. I just bought a small waterproof box someone else pointed to here in another review for $15 and boom... looks like a professional did it. These lights seem really well made... all metal parts... even the stakes. Buy your 16/2 wire and some waterproof connectors and you're all set. My family was floored when I took them outside and turned them on. They are perfectly bright, nice warm tone, and a good pattern. I up-lit 2 specific trees and used the rest of uplight the front of the house. It looks like a million bucks now!

This is a great price on a great product. The lights are bright! Installed all of them in about 2 hours, that included trenching the low voltage wire. My only complaint is mounting the light to the stake was a bit of a pain in the ...... You can’t get a screw driver between the light and the bracket to tighten the screw. Initially I was disassembling the light from the bracket. But that was taking forever. Finally figured out a way to hold the screw on the angle and spin the stake! Also, if you buy these you will need to purchase separate hardware to attach the wiring from the light to the low voltage wire (unless you want to splice the low voltage wire where every light connects). I bought connectors on Amazon for about $25 for 18. You also need to buy the low voltage wire separate. All in I have about $125 invested for 9 lights. You’re not gonna beat that price. As for longevity, we will see. If it falls apart I’ll update this post. 🤣🤣🤣

So I was so ready to give these a 5 star, loved everything about them, price was right, seemed sturdy, came with everything i needed (except wire), gave the right amount of light and the right color to high-lite front of house. I actually sat down to write a 5 star review just after I installed them, but I decided to give them a few weeks, and the result is that after two weeks of install and maybe 3 not so heavy rains, one of the 7 already has a fogged lens, showing me that it leaks. So does that make it a 1-star product? I'm sure the supplier would think not, however, two things. 1) LED are intolerant of moisture. I have seen old incandescent yard lights practically rust out and still work because of the simple electrical connection involved, but LED's are not like that, they will burn out quick in the presence of moisture and 2) I now have to remove the faces and silicone the gasket and screw holes of all 7 fixtures, which since i sealed the connections, I have to do bent over in the yard, so that's gonna be a pain in the arse. When I'm done sealing them, ill probably calm down and move it to a 3 star, but if your going to sell a yard light that's made to be outside, you should make sure it is sealed properly. and ps, this is re: the light itself. Others have said the transformer leaked but it is very clear in the instructions that the transformer is NOT waterproof. Don't ding a product because you didnt read directions, thats bad karma

I am very happy with these lights for the price! This was my first time installing landscape lights and they were so easy to install! Yes I am woman and felt very comfortable with the installation! So to all my Toolbelt Divas out there, you can do it too😉 I did change out the connectors to gel filled ones which I preferred to use and wrapped them very good with electrical tape then buried the wires. It took me about 2 hours to install all 10 lights running 100 ft of 16/2 wire. I placed these lights in several areas around the side of my house and my She-Shed that is normally very dark. It made a world of difference and looks great! Now regarding the transformer, it is NOT made for outdoor use which makes NO sense at all but I found a great solution! I purchased a waterproof outdoor case and put the transformer and timer inside of that! It has rained very very heavily for a few days and my lights worked great and transformer remained bone dry! I purchased the waterproof case from Amazon for $15.99. I hope this suggestion helps alleviate some of the frustration with the transformer burning out since everyone may not be able to keep it indoors! It worked for me and kept my sanity! I feel very confident now running 15 more lights around the front and other side of my house! I will purchase the same lights without the transformer since I will need a much more powerful one and will switch to 12/2 wire for this run!
