Q: does the rail attachment screw thread into the aluminum?

There are screws that thread in and hold the side against the rail. This model has 3 screws. Pretty standard for this style of mount. Plenty sturdy too. No problem handling the recoil of my 458.

yes it will mine is a weaver rail taken several land sharks with mine
