I managed to return the shine to aluminum motorcycle rims almost 50 years old. The cleaner came with the recommended red shop rag and 0000 steel wool. I ran out of steel wool (and energy) before I did Gord's cleaner. 8 oz. was not enough to do finish the rims, I guess I'll be ordering another 16 oz. bottle to complete the job.

Using this polish to do all of my hard aluminum fuel lines and it works quite well. I usually prefer paste type polishes; this polish is pretty watery/thin so I feel like I lose more of it in the polishing cloth, but honestly you can't argue with the results.The cap on my bottle arrived slightly loose and it had leaked a little in shipping. It was a little messy, but didn't look like I lost very much product. Just something to note.

No other metal polish gets your brass mirrored like Gord’s! It’s truly a fantastic product!

Tested it on a small piece of 6061. Half of it polished with Mother's, the other half with Gord's. They both came out looking about the same but Gord's took way longer to apply, so no point in using it really. I also contacted the manufacturer for recommendations and they never bothered to reply.

This polish doesn't work well with an electric polisher such as my makita, the polish dries too quickly too use with polisher. Is a really good polish though.

Bought this for my husband to use on his chrome for his 18 Wheeler, he loves it !
