Sturdy, good quality, and perfectly sized for little hands. We gave this to our kiddo at 7 months I think, and he loves it. At 9.5 months now, he shakes it along with music and picks it out of his toy bucket often.Minor flaw: The drum element creates a very dull sound. It doesn't have any resonance or boom to it. I think the covering is probably a little thick for it to be a good drum surface, but that is also making it durable, so there's your trade off. The whole toy is relatively quiet for a percussion instrument. Satisfying enough for little ears and not obnoxious for grownups. Very happy with this purchase. Good quality.

He is so fascinated with his first musical instrument. He loves to "pound" (he is 7 months) on everything, so Nana said why don't we get a drum, but i seen this, My First Tambourine, and it is perfect for this little hands.Side note: Not loud enough that causes this Nana distress!!

Just what I was looking for. My niece is 10 months and she has a bit of trouble holding it because of the shape of the hole where you’re supposed to hold it… but she loves the sound it makes. She also throws it around a lot and it hasn’t broken or anything thankfully lol

Great quality. My daughter is rough, it withstand her throwing around. Its a nice size for little hands. My daughter will randomly walk around the house playing with it. She's a music lover.

My 10 monrh old Grandson LOVED it.! It is sturdy and easy to grasp...highly recommend it.
