We had an absolute blast with this cobra kite! It was durable, easy to put together, and fun for our five and seven-year-olds. The tail was much longer than I expected, and the string was sturdy. It was the envy of everyone at the park!

This kite is GREAT!! It is well constructed but not as ready-to-fly right out of the package. I recommend TWO tips to make this an outstanding flyer. TIP ONE: Secure the horizontal cross spar with its center on top of the long vertical spar with a piece of electrical tape. This prevents the cross spar from shifting from its best position. TIP TWO: After securing the horizontal spar to the vertical spar, cut a piece of kite string about 30 inches long and make a slip loop at one end. Place this loop under the outside and under the sewn patch the holds the end of the horizontal spar to the body of the kite. Next, pull the string taut over the horizontal spar to form a shape that looks something like a bow. The distance from the string to the horizontal spar should be 3" to 4". Secure the end around and under the other sewn patch that secures the horizontal spar to the kite body. Tie off securely. These TWO tips will greatly improve the lift and flight dynamics of the kite. GUARANTEED to make it easy to fly in and wind. HOURS of fun!!!!

First kite I've purchased in years (not counting those for kitesurfing). Fun decorative kite that looks great in the sky. My 10 year old thinks it's awesome. Have flown this kite twice now. Once in about 5mph of wind and then again in about 10mph. The long tail makes it relatively stable although gusts/lulls can cause it to dive and do loops (and occasionally crash). TIP -- Best stability is achieved by assembling the cross-piece in front of the vertical bar. The lines pull from the vertical bar so if the cross-bar is in front, it will be pulled tight and the kite will maintain shape much better and be much less likely to crash. (The first time we flew it, it flew perfectly. The second time, it crashed a couple of times until I thought about the bar positioning and fixed my assembly error.) The line that came with it is pretty good but we hooked a 600ft reel to it and probably put it up 400 feet. I'd definitely recommend a reel for any kite, especially if you expect a child to bring it back down.

Easy to assemble, flies well and is eager to go up up up! This kite is great for kids or someone with frail wrists as it does not pull or yank at all (just enough to lift itself) Recommend a piece of cardboard or something to help roll up the tail with. 100ft by hand is rough. For the price, this is a good one.

This was a incredible kite. I got it for my Friend and we had a blast. The problem with it is that its just a bit hard to get in the sky but once you get a hand you set for life. I would definitely conceder buying this. But you might need some help with the assembly part of it. We are hanging it up in our room for decor but we take it out in windy days. another problem I found with this is the sizing of it. Its just a bit ridiculous (49 ft) is just a bit long. It does require a bit help though. very fun but be aware of it size. Last but not least the wind. if you go out to fly on the wrong day its very difficult. Now you might be thinking that there is no such thing as a day with to much wind to fly a kite well your wrong, The first day that I went out to fly it was dreadful. The wind was to hard and pushing the kite down. But after a few trys i finally got it in the sky with two other people helping. So in all this a great product and you should get it if you looking for a kite and some fun!

This kite was easy and quick to put together. I had it opened, assembled and in the air within 5 minutes. It soared and the incredibly long tail wiped in the sky at the beach! Top points go to durability and strength for me. My cousin was flying a kite and ended up letting go of the string handle. The wind was so strong it immediately took it out of reach, it ended up crossing my cobra kite and getting tangled. But the cobra just kept flying with another kite caught on it! It looked like we had a double decker kite! My son loved it! I would definitely recommend this kite to young and old kite flyers.

This is an absolutely incredible kite! First of all, my 11 yr old grandson loved the size of the tail-bigger is always better for boys. He ran outside to fly it and immediately ran to tell me it was the best kite he ever had. I was a bit disappointed in that because, I had bought him many impressive ones like pirate ship kites, dragons, box kites etc. In no time, he had it up so high that he ran out of string. That had never happened before. He flew it all afternoon until the wind switched. That caused him to have a run in with the tallest tree in the area. He loved that kite so much that we later found him with a hatchet trying to chop a tree down to retrieve it. After a bit of some serious rough tugging and pulling, he eventually managed to work it down, but he ended up ripping the rugged material in the string area. The materials used in this kite are extremely superior quality but forcefully pulling it through tree branches isn’t a the greatest way to handle it. This supplier immediately offered to replace the kite. That is unbelievable service. I would highly recommend this kite and supplier to everyone! The seller has sent a replacement kite! There should be more stars than only five for sellers like this one!

Great kite. Good materials, easy to fly, looks neat in the sky. Even did a couple of figure-eights on the first day we flew it, when at first we hadn't been sure that there was enough wind to get it up. After our first two tries, I can say: 1. A gentle wind is enough to fly it. When the flag in front of the school whose field we used was moving, but not a lot and sort of sporadically, there was enough wind to do the trick. 2. If you don't see the leaves on the trees moving, you'll need to run at least as fast as a robust almost-four-year-old to keep the kite in the air. Probably just as well to give it a miss on that sort of day. (We tried it on a calm day because we were on a play date and had mentioned it in the planning. The kids still had fun running with it.)
