Dreamworks Dragons, Toothless 14-inch Deluxe Plush Dragon, for Kids Aged 4 and Up

If you're considering this for an adult, it's 10,000% worth it, and fits in well with any dragon collection or snuggle pile! That's all you really came here for, but I'm still going to gush here a little bit ( ' ▽ ` )The fabric is soft and very cleverly patterned with a scale design, which is a surprising detail since most just go with flat fabric for the whole thing. He holds his pose and looks at you so cute! The green of his eyes is a soft fleece, with well embroidered details that have no gaps. His head furnishings, tail fins, and claws are felt details, but look good, don't feel rough, and aren't shedding fibers. His wings are fun to play with, made of very soft, floppy minky, with fleece on the inside, and are even embroidered with a wing structure so they look like real wings. I'm in love with this boy! I don't wanna stop looking at him and holding him! He arrived four days early and when I got to see him in person, I gave myself permission to scream for five (5) whole seconds. I'm so excited to buy his lightfury counterpart so they can be cute and huggable together!I collect toothless merchandise, but here's the thing... DreamWorks has no idea how to design desirable plushies. And as a plush designer myself, that's so sad to me! Without a licensed plushie of my favorite dragon, my collection felt incomplete, but I wasn't gonna spend any money on the plushies up until this point, which all ended up in the clearance aisle because nobody wanted those ugly things! Have a little Google and find the other officially licensed toothless plushies. It guarantees laughter at awkward seams, soulless eyes, puffy mouths with felt teeth, terribly stiff felt wings, and limbs that look like they don't belong. Then come back to this listing, think about the person you're buying it for, and acknowledge that they deserve quality. The only way you could get a better one is to fairly commission an independent artist who's willing to make one custom!

This is one of the better designed plush HTTYD toys out there in mass production. The only ones that i've seen better designed were hand-made fan creations. Unlike the teddy bear style plushes this one is built along the lines of the dragons actual design in the movies and very well executed. It's a soft flocked material all over, including the wings (which are not posable, but could easily be modified with some pipe cleaners or wire to be able to pose them) and just really cuddly and well made.My only real complaint is that they basically cheaped out on the pattern and used Toothless's pattern with minor modifications for the Light Fury's pattern. Would have been much more original and fun for kids to play with both plushes together if the Light Furys pattern had been mirrored so that Toothless and the Light Fury could be posed or played with head to head like they interact in the movie...but that's a minor quibble.Basically it's a GREAT plush if your kid is more into DRAGONS than Teddy Bears style dragon plushes.A+++

He is just adorable! I bought him along with LightFury. The kiddo loves them both!He is posed, but his wings move.He’s covered in a pattern that looks like scales, and his wings are a little fuzzy.My shipping box came damaged but the plushie was fine. It came wrapped in a plastic bag and secured to the product box.I bought these years ago, and they are holding up amazing for almost daily play. (Images are from recently played with)

This is soooooo cute!!! My 3 yr old was beyond excited for this!!! It is well made and durable!! Soft and cuddly! It's great to find a dragon toy that isn't scary and is for little tots. Definitely recommend!

This is the best plush Toothless you can buy from Amazon! To the people who are upset about the white tag on his tail, there is a simple fix for that. First, be sure to cut the tag as close to his tail as possible. Then, for the tiny strip of white tag that remains, use a black permanent marker and color the remainder of the tag until it is black. Once you’ve done that, the remainder of the tag blends right in with the rest of his tail. Hope that helps!This Toothless has very nice detailing and is bigger than I thought he’d be. I took a picture of him next to some bottles so you can see how tall and long he is. I’m very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend him to anyone who loves the How To Train Your Dragon movies!

This is a very good quality Toothless plush. It feels much more like an adult collector’s plush rather than a children’s toy, but it feels quite durable. The tail fins, toes, and some of the head spines are made of a stiff and durable felt, the body itself is a soft, scale textured fabric, and the wings are plush minky. The eyes are embroidered.Pros:It’s big! 14 inches makes for a good sized and huggable plush.Very detailed and movie accurate. The proportions are really accurate to the character, which you don’t see in many Toothless plushes.Super soft minky wings. I can’t stop stroking them! They’re so fuzzy and cute.Cons:The felt attracts lint easily, but it’s easily picked off. It’s a bit rough as well, around the edges. I do wish the edges were coated in a bit of ribbon, or at least a fabric-paint like seal to take away the roughness.The sewn tag he came with is in somewhat of an obnoxious place on his tail (I removed the tag and colored over it with some black sharpie to make it less obvious)Bottom line? Lovely plush, very good quality for such a good price.

My daughter absolutely loves this version of toothless! It is the only plushie that she has in her room anymore. This is a great addition for any fans of the movies. The only issue is that the tail is made out of felt, and we have to consistently use a lint roller to remove cat hair that gets stuck on the tail.
