This is a great book full of ideas and information for anybody new to pro-touring. It is not a step-by-step guide to building a car if that's what you're looking for. It presents the general concept of pro-touring with many specific examples. The source guide at the end of the book is probably worth the purchase price on its own.

This is a great book to start with. It covers all the basics: terminology, car basics of engine, suspension, brakes etc. It will certainly get you started giving you all sorts of ideas. And if you are looking to build a Pro-Touring car a definite must have in your library.

Priced right, plenty of very good info for seasoned vets as well as the novice. I recommend this along with a few others available thru Amazon.

like the fact that a car i built in 1996 had made it in the book with the new owner taking credit for the build..........WTH
