Yep, I like it.
It's cool. I just got through playing with it outside for the first time. It's very dark out right now, the red led is cool. You can see. It ain't great, maybe don't perform surgery with it, but stuff like baiting a hook, looking through a bag, walking through the woods at night to "nature", yeah this'll work. Especially if you've got like other campers around, I'd be using the red led if I was navigating through a bunch of tents at like a boy scout jamboree or like some thing with a bunch of people sleeping in tents. And stuff. The flashlight is BRIGHT. It had a great range. Lit up a dock three houses down like it was day. It's got like two though see. The right button makes a low beam, click it again and it makes a brighter low beam, click it again and it makes a strobe. The left button is the heavy hitter. Bazoonga that's a bright light. Click and hold for red led. Which is like two red led lights that can also strobe red led lights, cosplay people, this thing makes two red led lights about an inch and a half apart. Glowing eyes, glowing glowstone glows, you know the glowth. Glowners. Glowtastical.Glow.

BRIGHT light, great motion recognition Love it!
I got this to use when I am drawing and painting. I do some very detailed drawings, and though I have 3 lamps on my drawing table and I'm in front of a large window, it still wasn't enough DIRECT light. This unit is great. Honestly, this is one of those things, that NOW I wonder how I did without it before!!There are 2 levels of light I use when drawing and painting, BRIGHT and DIM, and I use hand motion to turn the light on and off. That's a real asset to saving battery. I also like that I can swivel the lamp head to point downward at my paper. I can see this will also be an asset when I'm reading in bed at night.LOVE IT. Highly recommended.

This is better than lights several times the price!
I didn't expect a whole lot from thos light given the price. Well I was very very wrong! This light is incredible! It is super bright! I ise it when I go night fishing and it lights up the whole area. The motion sensor to turn it iff and on is very responsive, never having to wave my hand more than once. A full charge will last a long time. I've used it for a couple nights in a row, easily several hours of use, turning it on and off and the battery lasts! And the fact that it is rechargeable just puts it so far above most other lights in this price range. And it is durable, I've dropped it multiple times with no ossues. This is a no brainer, BUY IT!!!

Good headlight - worth the prize but does not live up to the hype
I use the headlamps for running in the morning and winter camping. I have had it for 3 months. The headlamp max is really around 345 lumens measured not the 500. Given what I use it for 340 lumens is good enough. I have used Black Diamond, Fenix, and Petzl flash, bike, and headlights. This lamp with the ability to wave your hand to turn it off and on makes it worth the price. It is half the price of the others around 325-350 lumens. Two issues why it did not get 5 starts. 1. It is nowhere near the 500 lumens, I would have expected at least 450 lumens. 2. The red light function is almost useless, most times you use it to not blind people at night or for being able to view the night sky without needing to adjust your eyes. Am I glad I got it, yes.

Long press the button on the right!
I was about to give this light a 4 star rating, then I read the first question (as of now). I hate it when these lights start off with the brightest white light setting and cycle through other white light settings to get to red. By the time you do that, you have destroyed your night vision, which is what the red light is for!Now that I am reminded that a long FIRST press will turn on the red light, I'm ready to give it five stars. I also chose to have a USB rechargeable light because I'm tired of throwing away batteries and worrying about having spare batteries when I need them. Now all I have to do is remember the long press if I don't want to go straight to brightest white.

Amazing power in a small size
The first time I ever used this I was 100 feet in the air on a fire tower at night. It provided great light for the climb down and the hike back to the car. I like that you can charge it via cable, which can be done in the car or with a power bank if you need a boost. I have two now- one for my camera bag, and one in my car bag. I think I'll be getting a third one soon. Take advantage of the low price, they are worth much more just for the light weight of it and the small size and are also comfortable to wear.

Value Rechargable Light!
For the $12 price tag it has been worth every penny. It lasted about 6 days of regular use (1-2 hours day).Pro: it's 'no hands' feature is AWESOME - get complements every time I wear it dog walking.Cons: When it dies it just dies...the light did get less bright but there isn't an indicator to let you know battery life. The red lights aren't as bright as I would have liked. Lastly, using the 'no hands' function with the red light goes back to bright white light. I wish it would have turned off or gone to the mid level white light as I'm trying to save my night vision.

Best headlamp ever
I bought this for my cousin in England several years ago. He delivers dominos pizza to some pretty dark lanes and had hands full so could not hold a flashlight. Last month it was stolen from his car and he was looking for another one but could not find one that had the same features. I ordered him another one and he is very happy.
