Zupreem 230358 Natural Large Bird Food, 20-Pound,Whites & Tans

I work at a rescue sanctuary where we house many parrots and this is our go-to food for them. It’s kept them healthy and happy and they love the taste. We opt for the naturals over the different colored pellets because we found some of the parrots would favor one color over another and food would be wasted. Since all pieces of this food are uniform in size,texture, color, etc.. it results in so much less waste. The large size is great for our blue and gold macaws, moluccan cockatoos, scarlett macaws, and yellow headed amazon.

My 3 year old CAG "Ama" absolutely loves Zupreem Natural. She gets seeds and nuts along with fresh fruits and vegetables daily, but it's so nice to know that I'm feeding her a well balanced diet by adding Zupreem Natural to her diet. I've tried "off brand" pellets and feeds and they all end up on the bottom of the cage! I usually buy the biggest bag (save on shipping) and then divide it up into two or three smaller re-sealable bags or plastic containers. It's also great when I go out of town and have someone else feeding her for me. I'm relieved to know that even if they fail to offer the right assortment of fresh food that she's still getting the best nutrition possible. I'm definitely a Zupreem customer for life !

Now granted the pellets are not colorful, but on the up side, there are no artificial colors. Since parrots like to sort, colorful blocks would benefit them. This product costs the same as it does at pet stores in my area, however, I get it delivered to my house; so less hassle. My birds like it and thrive; with fruits and veggies of course. One does not live on kibble alone.

Every thing came as promised

The difference between the max. 3 pd bag price in the store and ordering in the bulk 20lb. bag was around $100 for the equivalent.The difference in freshness was quickly apparent when I opened the bag...NO Rancid oil smell.So I imagined that the local storage warehouse and then the shelf wait was long enough to have the oils go rancid.That, for me, is reason enough, despite the huge cost savings.Could be wrong on the storage but the price showed up in my wallet.This month I didn't let my food run out and have to run to the store, to buy another, $20, 3 lb.bag.

I buy this for my babies, but they are not crazy about it, they are just very picky.

I gave it four start for flavor, because one of my birds just wants seed and she throws this out of the dish. Then, she has to pick it up off the bottom of the cage because she isn't getting anymore until this is done. I like this product because no added food coloring and unnecessary garbage is added. She gets seed - alternating.

This seems to be the only food my bird likes. I have a cockatoo and he is a real picky eater. If he hates it, he'll just throw it out the cage and it really bothers me. I've tried several over the months and this seems to be the only one that is actually being eaten.I first tried the 3 pound bag and it went quick - I now bought the 20 pounder to see if he gets bored of the food. So far, he's not bored.
