3M Venture Tape 2.83" x 50 yard White Vinyl Tape - 460V

Used this tape on my basement insulation where I needed to cut open. It holds well and makes the repair look professional. Pricey but well worth it.

This tape is the best for making repairs to covered insulation batting on my block basement walls. Sticks securely and blends in very well. Makes a neat looking job.

Used with Tyvek home wrap. I used Tyvek on the ceiling of my detached pole barn to give a clean look, with insulation on top of the Tyvek. The seams looked bad, but because of the material that Tyvek is made out of and temperature fluctuations in the garage, I had to pick the right tape that would adhere to the Tyvek, look smooth and color match, while also not loosing adhesion with the temperature fluctuations. This tape worked perfectly, and was incredibly easy to apply.

Looked around for this tape locally and was astonished at the price, so checked out online and opted to go through Amazon. The tape was used for repairing the vinyl vapor barrier/insulation on our basement walls prior to our basement finishing project this summer - and both the flexibility and adhesion properties are superior. The tape arrived within a couple days of order, so both the merchant and product are on top of their game.

Not enough adhesive in the tape. If it does stick it’ll soon lose grip and come undone! Although it was easy to apply and covered quick ground, having to redo a project is never a good thing!! Find another!

Also Recieved the wrong tape. It is not the fiberglass embossed tape that is in description, for cold weather insulation. In the process of returning as I write this. I Recieved a plain white vinyl tape labeled 460.

I needed to repair several minor and significant tears and holes in the insulation with white vinyl facing in our basement and this taped worked really well for covering those holes and patching the tears. The tape was easy to apply and seems to stick well. I liked it enough that I purchased a second roll after trying out the first.

What you would expect for the normal hurdles of working with movable surface. This is the stuff. Vote not in on adhesion but "off the roll" is fine. Sticky enough it grips but not so sticky that if it gets away from you and hits a surface that your not "stuck". Pricey for what it is, but the material of choice.
