Quality Problems, but they fixed it
Updated: The manufacturer eventually sent an entire new canopy, frame and all. That's a welcome solution to the problem we had (I'd have been happy with a new cover). Can't give them 5 stars since it was a bit of a hassle, but perhaps I really was just unlucky enough to catch them during a major computer problem, as they said.Original review:The frame is well built, and we liked the canopy the one time we have used it so far. It comes with spikes to hold it down; those are probably good for asphalt, but not the most practical for camping. But the cover has quality issues. The canopy is badly sewn, several seams and stitches have been ripped out and resewn during manufacturing, leaving the canopy with as many as 4 parallel rows of perforations that will undoubtedly tear prematurely. There is obvious creasing where the material had bunched up during sewing; that should have been caught during quality control even if the needle holes are a bit harder to see.I am in the middle of what is, so far, a 30 minute attempt to file a warranty claim. The canopy directs the customer to call make a claim. Call that number, and several prompts eventually get you directed to file the claim online instead. Go online, and the website directs you NOT to file there if the product is less than 30 days old, but to instead call a different number. Alas, that new number goes to the same place and the same voice prompts. After 45 minutes on the second call to get from position 34 down to position 1 in the queue, I got a message saying they were experiencing technical problems and could not take my call. I filed on online warranty claim over the instructions not to do so for a new product. The website says it may take 14 days to get a reply.I liked the product except for the bad sewing, until I was subjected to this arduous do-loop gauntlet of customer service. But I can't endorse any vendor who flat out wastes an hour of my day.

Quality Canopy
I bought a QuikShade Expedition canopy a couple of years ago for my yard. I never took the shade down (I’m lazy) and it was out there in the wind and rain for about 2 years before it finally ripped apart. I was looking for a replacement canopy (sans frame), but couldn’t find one anywhere, so I bought this Solo model. I didn’t feel like taking down the Expedition frame (it’s bolted into concrete), so I just popped the Solo shade on the Expedition frame and it fits perfectly. Anyhow, it’s durable and will probably last a long time if you take it down in stormy/windy weather.

Well made tent, with spares available. Packs up small.
I paid a bit more than the super-cheap brands to get something with decent customer support. This style of tent will break over the long run, and being sold by a US company with US customer support is important to get spare parts. The design is excellent without the spring pins on older models, although I dispute this can be put up by one person (the Solo in the name). It packs up much smaller than competing models and came with a decent wheeled cover.

compct and well constructed
this is an excellent small, compact shade shelter. 3 piece legs allow for 42" folded size. easily fits in virtually every car trunk. very stable footprint on the ground. well made not like most of the flimsy, less expensive 2 piece leg types. easy set up and take down. worth the purchase.

If I can set this up by myself anybody can!
I bought this so I would be able to set it up by myself and it did not disappoint! Easy to set up and the small size makes it easy to transport!

You will not like it. It looks nice but it is too flimsy, even in a light rain.
Don't buy it. Rain water built up to where I had to lift the canopy with a broom to drain it for even a light rain. This is in southern California. What would it be like in a rainy state?

Great easy to use
This is a great canopy. The quick release on legs is great. It’s a little heavy but it works well during breezy days. I would recommend this product.
