NEW DELL ORIGINAL GENUINE 240-Watt 19.5V 12.31A AC POWER SUPPLY ADAPTER CHARGER

I’m giving it 5 stars because at its core, it worked at the 240watt charge rate and filled the need I had for it as a backup charger. I have a new Alienware X15r2 that comes with a slim 240watt charger, albeit a different, smaller version then this one. I went into the Dell diagnostic screens to confirm it is seen as a 240watt ac adapter and sure enuf it is. I am not really seeing anything right away to think it’s not an official Dell charger as well, it does have a Dell sticker on it with the wattage info but it does lack the Dell emblem that the 240watt one for sale at Dell has or the AW emblem my original one has so possibility remains it’s not made by Dell. Beyond the emblem, there is no indication from the Dell laptop itself that it is any different then a Dell charger. It reads the exact same as the one that came with my x15.Dimensions wise, this one measures 7.5 inches long, 3.5 inches wide, about a inch thick. The one that came with my device is 6 inches long, 3 inches wide, a bit less then a inch thick. The slimmer one that came with my device is not offered for sale on its own yet.

This item shipped very quickly to me. This AC adapter really works well. It seems to be a genuine Dell part for much cheaper than it costs from Dell. I'm hoping it will be better than the original one that came with my Alienware laptop which only lasted 14 months.

I got this to have a backup for my Dell G15 (5511) as it requires a high quality 240W charger to achieve full performance. I ran it through turbo modes and an hour burn in to verify that my CPU and GPU were boosting to spec. I can confirm this is a suitable replacement for the G15 line and allows full performance.I could not find another HA240PM190 so I took a shot with this, glad it paid off. Born August, 12th 2023 - died August 10th, 2024. I take good care of my electronics. Used for Dell gaming laptop, but NOT for high intensity gaming, but rather for college. Disappointed in Dell.

This charging brick was a great upgrade from the humongous brick that shipped with my Alienware laptop. It gave me more space in my backpack and significantly lightened the load. However, after a little less than a year of service, the power brick no longer provides the advertised 240-watts of power.For everyday productivity like web browsing, documents, spreadsheets and the like it works fine, but for gaming, which is why people buy Alienware in the first place, it does not provide enough power and the battery will continually drain while gaming until the battery is depleted. Now I carry my original brick around and use this replacement for light tasks only.

The product was as advertised except the wrong cable was included to plug it in to the wall. Luckily I had an extra old cable power cable I could utilize instead.

Replaced the original Dell charger, which failed. Works well. Enough juice to charge the heavy-duty Dell laptop which requires 240 watts.
