Tough 1 Clipper Blade Sharpener Kit

Sometimes as a groomer you have to shave a dogs mats off before a bath to get the coat clean. It is very rough and tends to dull your clipper blades quickly.With this product its easy to sharpen your blades at the end of the day ready for the next day.

No instructions at all. Nothing. Sorry I missed the return date.

It's ok in a pinch. Kind of sharpens, but not that great. There's a raised notch in the center & I'm sure it's a flaw. I'm still not sold on it, prob better to get a better one that costs more. Or, just get the darn things sharpened at your fav. sharpening center. They have the good equipment.It is a messy little operation, because of the grease. It kind of "is what it is".

Was good quality, and came in a nice carrying case to keep all the parts together. Saves a lot of money on new blades!

It works as well as we thought it would. You have to put some elbow grease in to using it , but it does sharpen blades.You have to read the directions and follow them or it won't work.

First off, this sharpening kit does NOT come in the nice hard plastic case as shown. Instead it comes in a cheap vinyl zippered case that doesn't look like it will hold up for very long. I had this kit several years ago (with hard plastic case) but it got lost in a move. I was delighted to find a replacement but totally disappointed when I received the product. The sharpening plate in this kit is a fraction of the thickness of the old kit I had and appears to be poorly made and finished. I haven't tried sharpening any blades on it yet so still holding out hope that it will perform as expected. I can usually rely on Tough 1 for decent products but they need to change their photo as it is not what you get.

Works well to put an edge back on the clipper blades.
